  1. Does the achievement system replace the codex? If not, is the codex getting any 'improvements'?
  2. Would like to be able to switch on and off different reputation bars that can be shown on my UI. Like exp bar or legacy bar.
  3. Correct me if i am wrong but the last podcast was July 6. Can we expect more of these, on more of a recurring schedule?
  4. I just wanted to mention two suggestions or, rather two races that could be an "easy" or exception to the rule. By no means am i a game developer, and i know everyone has an easy fix. However, what about a wookie race and a droid race? Races like these for the most part don't need to have any additional customization after initial creation. And not to speak for everyone, but i think many would agree. If it was noted when creating them, that they are what they are when you make them, people would be happy with that. I could see down the line if you add in a "barbershop" you could change droid "Heads" or body types, but aside from that i would be happy to see some variety to all the human-esk players around me. I think their is a decent pool of species, that you can start to consider pulling from that aside from initial customization people would be content with for a long while. Also, as far as we will most likely only have English speaking races kinda bothers me. Far as i can tell when we are doing quests and story its on our own end, and if a player wants to sit and listen to that let them, that would be their decision when they make a character, if you don't want to hear mumbo-jumbo and growling gorillas then make a human race. Let the player decide. Jeez.
  5. Let's say I'm Synthweaving and i want to suit up a lower level guild mate. It could take 6+ hours, or more than a couple of days (considering play time), for someone to make with how long it takes to craft. My 2 cents is add in a quick craft ability with a 1day/2day (whatever) cool down that would allow you to craft a single item instantly. Perhaps don't even allow the chance for an augment slot when you craft this way. Or even make consumables that allow this ability.
  6. Yikes, my inventory sure is filling up. I'm not sure how i feel that a lot of the "novelty" items, not only in the cartel shop, but older items from launch even must take up inventory space and are not added into the "Pet family" or similar non-space taking area. The Party Jawa, holo rancor, carbonite chamber, training droid, holo dancer, social badge, flare gun,.... the list goes on and on.... Is it possible to get these items and similar added into a holding place within the abilities window, so they are always available, but don't take up inventory space?
  7. I've recently finished the 1-50 story of my Bounty Hunter. One part specifically stands out in my mind like a sore thumb...
  8. Just wanted to say this fight was awesome. The cut scene back and fourth fight was so cool. I wish you guys (devs) had a lot more of these fighting cut scenes in the game. Honestly, sometimes i wouldn't even mind if whole fights were cut scene like this every once in a while. Very Cool.
  9. I have been playing an Operative for a while now, and its starting to really bother me that in nearly every cut scene when i draw a gun, instead of my Rifle, i pull out this mysterious blaster pistol. Sure it could be my "side arm" but if i remove my chest piece, its no where to be found. My toon must be one sneaky operative i guess.
  10. Looking at the thread, it seems pretty, 50/50 on this topic. Someone mentioned the VIP area in general (as i did as well in the OP). So rather than updates to the CE vendor, As many people feel "To bad you spent that cash, be glad you got what you got" How about general updates to the VIP area? Any player can gain access (after purchasing the writs band), so why not update this small exclusive shop (area) that will be 100% separate from the upcoming cartel shop? It looks like almost all of the legacy items are going to be purchasable with cartel coins, so if the VIP area stays at a buy in with in game credits then this can be its only little exclusive hub to players that save up? But it should be updated every so often, it should be a place players want to go and dump some credits on exclusive.... or even discounted items (i.e. crafting mats, stims, etc.)
  11. I get that it's best to add power, as many of the posts say in this thread. However the only adrenals that add +power that i know of (i haven't maxed out the craft yet) directly state a % decrease in healing done. So that pretty much negates the use of them for healers, no? So, with that said, i see the "opposite" in the adrenal that adds +Tech power and % decrease in damage done. Leading me to think that this would be the choice adrenal for Operative healers?
  12. I was doing an internet search for this same question. Which adrenal is best for a healing operative? I've read the posts in this thread and decided to go with the +crit for now. Since the +power adrenals subtract healing done by a %. However i noticed the +Tech power - Damage adrenal, and someone also made a post about it.... ...Noticing that it clearly reduces damage by 50% leads me to assume that only a healing class would be interested in it. So would i be best to go for this +tech power over the +crit adrenal?
  13. It appears that the cartel market and F2P are just around the corner. I am very curious to see what plans there are for the legacy system. As, i can see how the cartel market could easily replace the legacy system with in game perks and what-not. I very much like the idea of legacy as rewarding the player (Paid or F2P) for their time spent playing in game. So, To the community, what would you like to see in the legacy system that would not be in the Cartel Market? Dev's, can you shed any light on your plans for legacy in the future and how it will balance with the Market?
  14. I rolled a new character, an Imperial Agent /Operative, and i stumbled on a lore object in one of the class specific quest instances. "Destroy the Enemy" on Balmorra. If i happened to miss this object, would i never have the opportunity to be able to find or get it again? As once i finish the instance and leave it will become closed to me. I ask out of curiosity that if lore objects are scattered in this manner, is it possible that i have missed some on other characters in class or even story specific areas that now i have completed them and i will never be able to unlock the lore?
  15. No i was confused because you said Star Trek Online did this very same thing, and then said you never had this issue with any other MMO you have ever played. I should have rather asked, If you never had this issue with any other MMO you have played, how can you say that you experienced the very same thing in Star Trek Online? Maybe i misunderstood (in that case my bad) but it reads like you were contradicting yourself.
