  1. In my experience, as I'm just now finishing up a marauder, is that Juggernauts tend to live a little longer compared to marauder in exchange to slower/less dps at lower levels. They can get the job done, but it'll feel a bit heavy. Marauders, specifically carnage marauders, tend to put out more damage while leveling, but sometimes require a defensive cooldown to stay at a healthy health level, but don't let that discourage you, they have plenty of damage reduction cooldowns. The general gist of it is: Juggernaut lasts longer in a fight mitigation-wise, marauders can melt an enemy faster. I say if you want to level a marauder, go for it. They incredibly fun and fast paced (again, at a carnage viewpoint). Juggernauts are fun too, as I have both.
  2. Something you have to understand is, In my opinion, the Sith Warrior had among the most climactic of endings. Everything led up to the peak, and it ended in a 'feel-like-the-world-bends-to-me' feeling, whether you're lightside or darkside. Just my $0.02.
  3. Double-Bladed Pole dancing... ...Hey you asked. Make it happen, Bioware.
  4. Decided on Juggernaut. The feels of it is palpable.
  5. Hello folks! So I'm back from roughly a year hiatus and I'm thinking of making a new dude. I deleted my Juggernaut/Assassin previously before I left TOR for some reason, and now that I'm back I'm looking to start one up again. My question is: Which of the two is more accepted in PvE situations, and with 3.0 on the horizon, which do you think will be more powerful? I'm not looking for flavors of the month or anything, but I don't want a guy that's so lacking in DPS or potential that no-one would bother. I choose not to be Marauder because, in my opinion, they are on the boring side, nor do I like the look of two sabers flung around like a drummer boy on his daddy's red pills from the cabinet. I already have a Sorcerer so that's taken care of. What do you guys think? Remember, this is from a purely PvE perspective.
  6. The one that will ALWAYS leave a place in my cold, ebon-pumping heart, is when you're on Dromund Kaas and you meet a robot with a restraining bolt while trying to get the turret plans. "Somebody stop me! Someone please stop me!" "You're a big droid, stop yourself." I know that line is multi-character, but his voice just makes me roll over laughing.
  7. I'm sure you've heard this question countless times, and I'm even more sure you're about to type in the teeth-grindingly pointless words "Play what you want!" That's not the point of this question. Thank you, Now that I've got my Jugg nice and up there, I'd like to know how DPS inqs are doing and which one would seem more implorable to play. I'm mainly a Melee'er when it comes to MMO's (primarily DPS as well, but I've tanked when I was needed) and I like the look of the Assassin, but I saw how wrecked Assassins were placed in 2.0. I also like the look of the Sorc, make me a fat one to resemble myself and Baras (oh how we resemble each other), but I'm not sure about them in the future and their DPS. (I'm PvE, I more than likely not go into PvP either) So should I make a Assassin hoping they get buffed in the future (I like them alot) or play a sorc and take advantage of their DPS capabilities? (I like the look of them too, so it's not much of a favoritism in my part) Feel free to answer or give your own opinion about the subject, I'm game for criticism.
  8. 8/10 Original, pretty badarse and it rolls off the tongue. Mines Darth Salaran
  9. My warrior's theme song? Enemies by Shinedown. No question.
  10. I leave for a while and WHAT HAPPENS TO MY THREAD?!? Thanks all.
  11. The title says it all. Which is more reliable to pull out maximum damage PVE wise? I understand Vanguards are more flexable when it comes to movement because they stay in 10m range and can run all over the boss. I also know that commandos are good but are stationary to pull good dps. Any advice would be golden. Thanks.
  12. Thanks man, you just motivated me to start a Jugg. Have a good one.
  13. Hello, I understand Guardian and Juggernaut DPS is viable and challenging, but should I bother? I know that some may not take me seriously but really don't care. But I DO care about is would I get selected often in Ops and Flashpoints with this selected? I honestly cannot stand Mara's, yes they're easy but I don't want cake-walks or OP classes, I want something that I can work hard on but still pull great dps. Should I?
  14. Hello! I've been playing on and off for a while between this and WoW, and now that Wow's getting a bit old I'd like to stay on this for an extended period of time. Even though I'm a founder, I've never gone past lvl 20 simply because of my inconsistancy of playing between MMO's. I'd like to start COMPLETELY over. All my guys were Sith so now I'm trying Jedi, and I was always curious about warriors/knights. Me being a rebel-liberal type, I wanted to try Guardian DPS, but I've seen people scoff and lolnoob all who am or tried it. My question is: Should I try it and succeed? Or should I not even bother and go flip my livingroom table? Would love a response, and sorry for the ipsom-like fillers, I'm a talker.
