Sorry to say but we've got a lot of ignorance in this thread. I feel many of you have mistaken PvP Tanks for PvE Tanks. A PvP tank's primary objective is to provide utility for his team. Now, one can argue what is the best way to do that but.. I feel that many of you think the role of a PvP tank is to merely survive. With that said, Immortal Tanks are absolutely viable in DPS gear. They perform perfectly fine in regs, especially when a healer is present. I would also argue that DPS geared Immortal is the "most viable" way to use Jugg tanks in Group Ranked. So don't give me this "only viable in regs" BS. However, I should add, that DPS Geared Immortal has a substantially higher skill cap than any other Juggernaut spec/role. Since you have to perform all the same functions any other tank would need to do while also applying offensive pressure AND having less "room for error" when cycling defensive cooldowns. Only pursue if you are willing/wanting to really push your class capabilities to the limit.

We intend to play some Group Ranked Friday night starting around 6-7pm Pacific time.

Too early. I high doubt anybody is going to queue. In fact, that is so early, I almost suspect you hope nobody else logs to play against you. This way you can win trade and claim you announced you were ready, and able, to play but nobody else came. Then again, if you have some crazy weird schedule and that is the only time you are available.. best of luck to you.

I'm just going to go ahead and say that they probably aren't hacking and you are experiencing lag.

Not everyone who does Ranked is transferring either. A portion of players, sure.

I could see adding it to the Darkness skill tree. I agree that it was a mistake to open that utility up to that entire class though.

I was hoping for a Megaserver. Leaderboards, among various other things, can't even really function as they are now.

Eh, I'm sticking to the Bastion. I'm hoped servers before and it was always the same. Might as well stay in the place that makes the most sense. (I'm West Coast and a PvPer) Too many people are just hoping for greener grass on the other side.

Agreed. This is formed of good intentions but history has proven(?) it's futility. Regardless, at least for a short while, it'll be fun.

Sorry guys, this game isn't nearly competitive enough to even try such an endeavor. I'm sticking to Bastion until x-server or megaservers happen. Best to luck to you guys. The answers were already obvious before even making the thread. Everyone is just voting their own server and the most populated will be Harb for PvE-lols and then Bastion, the correctly named, last PvP server.
