  1. /signed I don't care which class is on top or on bottom, what I want to see is the disparity between dps classes reigned in to the promised 5% when this game released. I'm ok sitting on the bottom of parses if the very top is only 5% more than me. I don't think that's asking too much, and I believe that shows the devs are at least trying to class balance. Please stop this silliness, BW. You're our only hope.
  2. You still have armor type and secondary stats (afaik) to keep you repeating end game content. For example, if you're a vanguard tank you're likely not going to roll on a light armor mastery item with no defensive stats.
  3. Aim does for a bounty hunter what willpower does for an inquisitor. Now, mastery does for both what individual stats did before. It doesn't change anything other than the name of the main stat. When the game first released, class identity was more tied to armor type (light, medium, heavy). The cartel market took away class distinction way before this main stat change. Any class can look like any class, and that was something special in the beginning. That was a more homogeneous change than this by far.
  4. Just read through the entire thread and was surprised nobody mentioned Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. My god, what a great game! Too bad about the studio and future of the franchise, but this game was amazing through and through. R.A. Salvatore (created Drizzt, wrote Forgotten Realms novels) wrote the lore, Todd McFarlane (Spawn comic books) directed the art team, and Ken Rolston (Elder Scrolls, amongst others) was the executive designer. All star line up right there. So, my vote: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
  5. Please re-read what you've written. So very wrong. Stop grasping at straws for the sake of "winning" an internet argument.
  6. Founder with level 50 Legacy here. Came back to the game after a 6 month hiatus and I'm really enjoying re-playing some of my favorite stories. The game isn't perfect, but it certainly has many fun aspects.
  7. You'd only be making more of a grind for yourself. If you have to grind, winning will net more valor.
  8. I don't think overlapping questions will be an issue So which ever AC gets to post their questions first, the mirror can adjust if there is any overlapping content.
  9. People's complaints don't stem from being forced to buy CM items, necessarily. Mostly people feel resources put towards CM detracts from resources put towards in game rewards and items. That and the cosmetics of Cm items are generally nicer than anything found in game.
  10. Just wanted to add: Make sure Quinn's offensive abilities are toggled OFF. I would recommend keeping his channeled stun ON but otherwise only activate his abilities that heal. If he's too busy doing damage, that's time away from healing you. Be sure he is in his healing stance.
  11. Bolded the relevant. This is exactly right. Anyone who actively plays a merc/mando can see the futility in the change here. The only thing changing is the rotation, slightly. We are still heavily turret based with no means of mobility.
  12. Hi Kitru, I really like your idea here. If there was one thing I would like to see changed, though, it's this: "...Echani focused on light weaponry and armor, relying more on agility rather than heavier weapons and brute force." ^ Taken from wookieepedia. I believe a cunning based class would fit better with the overall theme of the class (society) and actually balance the disparity of medium strength and cunning armor gtn sales, leaving more reason to sell or make cunning based medium gear. The way I see it, cunning armor can be rare to find unless you are able to make it yourself or know someone who can. Mull it over
  13. It's not forced, you have the option of not doing those quests and completing just the pve quests. If and when you do choose to participate in a quest located in a pvp area, expect opposition in the form of player characters. Seems silly to think you would be unopposed...
  14. Hate to see you go, Malkiv. I very much enjoyed your input regarding PT's. You seem very intelligent in your videos so you should probably know this isn't how you leave a game. If you're going, just go. Nothing you can say has or will change anyone's mind about anything regarding the game. Good luck to you.
