No, large swathes were 'Solo' only - I'm one of that used to play with my nephew or brother ... solo instancing killed that ... I am now an infrequent player ... my brother still enjoys swtor but when he struggles in certain areas I am unable to assist him as they are 'solo only' instances. It's not just swtor, though ... World of Warcraft also now has some 'Solo Only' instancing ... I love to solo, I am a 'solo player' but I also love to team up with friends when I can, or when a certain part of an mmo gets tough ... and always loved that about mmo's ... you don't HAVE to group up, but you CAN ... alas with 'Solo Instancing' it's pretty pointless being an mmo... 'Solo Instancing' has no place in an mmo.

Thus - if you are going to Remove the Companion Boost it follows you MUST also remove Level Sync and the new system for Companions gear / Inf - where they gain no stats - and change the Influence system back to what it was. Can't remove one without removing the whole package. 4.0 was the most fun in swtor - 4.0.2 is a nightmare of LAAAAAG, Bodies lying everywhere (which contributes to the huge LAAAAG) and broken quests.

Personally I would go further and say it was the most fun I'd had in ANY mmo in the past 13 years!

Same, I actually pre purchased in order to Reserve names. I lost 3 names, one of which was a very important name to me ... after an hour trying to find a new name, & numerous times dropped back into the server queue due to 'inactivity' I ended up with a name out of simply trying numerous combinations. I do not like the new name, there was no 'Confirmation' box. I made my statement by promptly Cancelling my Subscription - something I would never have done if my name had not been changed. I've been a constant subscriber since launch. There are so many mmo's out there, new ones coming out all the time, I don't have to put up with this kind of thing, even BioWare's Founders are leaving ... BioWare is now just a name, one of EA Game's many Alias's.

... since the servers have been back up, one of my main characters has had their name changed ... but after 30 mins NO NAMES ARE AVAILABLE!!! I can no longer play my 'main' ... unless I change her name to something like noname6645475 ... ... Subscription Cancelled.

So, if the Destination Servers now have queues, what's it going to be like with Free-to-Play? Hour long queues? At least now it becomes clear why they really don't care how many customers they p*ss off, they'll replace us all with Free-to-Play players. So, why not KEEP the Origin servers running? If they are going to get an influx of new, FREE players, they'll need more servers.

... & the announcement of Free-to-Play not even 8 months from launch! Surely that HAS to be a Record for a 'Triple AAA' mmo. As someone else stated, even Star Trek Online lasted longer!

That simply is not possible. BioWare no longer exist. It is simply a name EA bought up & fleeced their customers using a trusted name. Now that we know better they'll completely absorb the 'BioWare' name & look at buying out another name/franchise & milk that til their customers realise they've been fleeced too. EA have only one priority, 'MAKE MONEY' We, the 'Customer', are merely a means to reach that end.

100% Agree with this statement. I was worried when I first saw EA's logo on SWTOR, but I trusted in BioWare ... I no longer trust BioWare, BioWare do not exist now, they are just EA under a different name. Buying up trusted companies, cheating their customers, destroying said companies trusted name, then rinse & repeat ad infinitum.

EA 'Customer Service' has always been 'Poor', they are one of the most hated gaming companies ... it is quite sad that BioWare's once great reputation has been so indelibly stained by them. EA Wins 'Worst Company in America' Award

Well, I simply did not have the time for Funcom's new release, The Secret World ... I guess I will now have the time & the reassurance that I will NEVER lose my name there, nor in Guild Wars 2, released 28th August. When my subs end I will probably not resubscribe. When a company cheats its customers it is time to move on. Forcing a name change & merging servers so soon after launch? Boy that's a first, I guess BioWare at least deserve credit for being the first in that category. I would hazard a guess that Free-to-Play will come before Christmas, as most of the angry customers leave for the new & their old games ... I was under the impression, however, that Lucas Arts forbade Sony from letting Star Wars Galaxies from going Free-to-Play ... I hope they do the same here & force EA/BioWare to make a loss. It's what they deserve for CHEATING their customers, in my opinion.

That is always my first port of call ... I have the url of nearly every available resource for all the mmo's I play, but this one Datacron is only shown from (A) getting the MGGS & then cuts to being at the actual Dam ... how they got through the Imperial Base is never shown I know WHERE it is & HOW to get up to it ... I just don't know HOW I am supposed to get through the Imperial Base with their Level 50 Droids & Turrets ... ======================================================== I managed to find a back way, so if anyone else comes here looking for info I'll try to describe it as best as I can: Coming from the Juran Mountains I passed Outpost Bolyn & entered Kaamos Territory. Quite near where you enter Kaamos Territory just off the main path is a side track ... past some level 30 Killiks & there are some level 40 Killiks with them too ... you may have to fight a level 40 Killik or two, but much easier than level 50 Champion Droids guarding the Imperial Base. You will have to drop down a cliff somewhat, although hugging the cliff as you fall softens the fall. This path leads directly to the Dam ... passing a cave with 3x level 40/41 Killiks standing guard. ======================================================== If there is another way, please let me know
