  1. Short answer, people love to complain. About anything. About everything. Why do you think talkback radio is so popular? It gives people an opportunity to complain about everything. And if people get everything they want, they complain about having nowhere to put it and so on. As far as this game goes, 'fun' is entirely subjective. At the moment, I'm enjoying it. When I stop enjoying it, I'll stop playing.
  2. I've not reached level 50 with any class so can only comment on a few worlds. So I will Coruscant - too long and too much running around. The Senate Plaza area, people, WHY is it so large? Aside from the merchants and cantina, there's doodly squat to see yet I have to waste five minutes just to get from one end to the other. Don't get me started on the Works - just too much backtracking. Aside from that, all the areas look too similiar to one another. Nar Shaddaa is similiar in feel but shorter, thank the Force. Balmorra and Taris, both of these worlds have far too much running to and fro just to get around. I could really have used a speeder at level 20 instead of 25. Edit - The colicoids on Balmorra, I coudn't walk more than 3 paces in any direction without having to fight off a swarm of them. Annoying. Dromund Kaas - at least you have speeders connecting the various parts of the city. I can take a speeder straight to whichever part of the Citadel my class needs to visit. I like that. Tatooine and Hoth. I like the look and feel of both planets but there's still too much empty space to fly through. I suppose that's the feel BioWare wanted - they're both meant to be wastelands. Quesh - Short and to the point. After Balmorra for the Republic side, it was like a vacation.
  3. YES! Pazaak. At least then players would have a reason to visit a cantina or casino beyond saving the game or following a storyline.
  4. Before SW TOR, I wouldn't have touched an MMO with a sixty foot barge pole - mostly because of the way the internet tends to bring out the absolute worst in people. But I'm a big Star Wars fan so I finally decided to buy into it. If that makes me 'casual' than so be it. I've played many many hours of single player BioWare games and what I love about TOR is how single-player like the class missions are - I can completely ignore everybody else and just play the game my way.
  5. Here's what I'm curious about - I have 6 characters on Flames of the Crucible, and have transferred 2 to The Red Eclipse - because that was the only option available. My question is, if I leave my other characters were they are, what happens if BioWare decides to close that server? I live in Australia and the whole reason I chose a European server to begin wtih was the fact it was so lightly populated. The 3 Asia Pacific servers are usually very heavily populated if not full at the times I want to play and I was worried about lag issues.
  6. Keeping in mind I haven't yet played all the classes and haven't picked up all the companions, my faves so far are Mako (a healer right off the bat and she's cute!) Kira Kaliyo (yeah, she dies a fair bit but I love her personality) Doc. First time he met my lady Sentinel, he tried hitting on her. I love that about him. Same deal with Tharan Cedrex.
