  1. I would sugest doing a search for the Trooper Class Quest. I dont want to spoil it for you. You answer is in the Forums if you look for it.
  2. I agree with Khalous, the 31 point CM skill is not really worth the Small amount of healing (even if its instant cast, as its a 21s CD!!) Thats WAY too long to help in any real way as most players will be hit with damage WAY over this in one hit. Plasma Cell/Assault Spec with CM is an interesting view, but most of the special affects you get in Assault are geared to use Pasma Cell. Unless you want to jump between the Cells on the Fly, and thats really up to you. If Mobility is the afore mentioned need, along with HiB its a tuff call, because you know how you like to play. I would sugest staying in CSC mode, and use the gunnery Tree if you want a Armor Break with GR, and have enough CM tallents to keep your ammo up a little more, but no matter what you are wanting, the new 1.2 will not give you enough ammo to stay in a long fight, and that even means FPs, and Ops. A good Armor Break to help the group might be better, and give a little DPS to offset the healing limits. Perhaps this Hybrid Build will help. Its close to a combat Medic, but not with the tallents of the upper trees that really do not add that much in the 1.2 patch. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800rfRoRdbdoZrukMR0z.1 I would LOVE to see more sugestions, this is a really interesting Thread.

  4. Ok, I am playing a L50 Shadow Consular, so I can give you some insight into the class. The beginning 10 levels are the same as the Sage class obviously, but once you actually go Shadow(either Tank or DPS) things start to drastically change. Obviously the Sage Class has a healing/DPS aspect, so I wont go into that as you are asking about the Shadow Tanking class. There are 3 different ways of playing a Shadow AC character. These are selected by the tallents you select. You have the Tank class spec (most Armor) that uses the Kenetic Combat tree, and 2 types of DPS Specs (lightest armor): Infiltration or Balanced, that use their respective tree. Kenetic combat uses abillities that focus obviously on Tanking, and Area DPS, but unlike the Jedi Knight tree have Crowd Control ability built in like the basic Consular class has. The infiltrator tree also has Crowd Control but is focused on Stealth attacks and Burst damage, then fade away to recharge. Balanced tree also has crowd control, but focuses on Ranged Area DPS, and offfers a little bit more conservation over the Inf class spec. As you can see the Shadow isnt perfect, but is a very versitile AC. So you can literally have a Tank or DPS class as readily available as a simple Respec and Gear change if you want to change up if like. Depending on your own likes and dislikes this is really a small matter in the game play, as I think you will like any of the classes you pick. With the option of a DPS tank with crowd control and invisibility, or a DPS with Crowd control/Invisibility is interesting, you will at leaste have alot of fun:) Hope this helps, and GL/Have Fun in whatever choice you choose.
