  1. Oh yeah, spend a year grinding holocrons to open up Jedi training .. go through another few months of the village quests and complete the trials ... then die 3 times ... BYE CHARACTER!!! Permadeath is a great motivator not to eff up.
  2. Bur EAware said loud and clear that the reason for the change to FP2W was not a business one!!! It was to open up the game to those less fortunates who wouldn't or could't pay for a sub!!! The Sub model was strong ... hmhmhm they SAID SO.
  3. I still fail to see why they cannot implement a one use schematic system, it would both increase the role of crafters and add value to the GTN. Simple things are missed in the rush
  4. Each update note is cumulative to the main patch notes.
  5. I know it is only the PTS but there are reports that the new content is not dropping mats for 51-55 level crafting. I don't know but I would suggest that the only way to consistently get materials in the quantities needed will be the CM.
  6. Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Game Update 2.0 PTS Update Patch Notes Last Updated: 3/6/2013 Crew Skills Crafting Skills Reverse Engineering will no longer provide Exotic Crafting Materials. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=607947
  7. Oh and just in case it has been missed, 2.0 will introduce Cartel Market only exotic mats thanks to removing them from RE actions. Drumroll please.
  8. You want actually worthy and fulfilling crafting? No, not in a story driven game shurley not .... I would say if you are waiting for this then you are waiting for the sparkel ponies to make Twilight a decent love story.
  9. Lack of knowledge of bioware is your issue not mine. Either way you are again proving your ignorance. move along troll, I am sure you find a bridge soon enough.
  10. It was actually originally dated post Yavin. With the introduction of heroics they added the Hoth instance but the actual "world" clock was never advnaced into ESB. You are also correct that some of the content I highlighted was introduced with the expansions, which also happened to coincide with ... Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. They also introduced fauna and flora that was specific to the new films as they were released (Nexu anyone ) plus planets that had no place in the original trilogy, Theed for example. The original game also used the score from Phantom heavily, to the extent that many of the load screen elevator music was Phantom related. SWTOR on the other hand has nothing in common with that time period, in fact it has little to do with the Star Wars IP outside of Kotor content that was adopted (incorrectly in mine and many opinions) as canon.
  11. Yet without the constant and unmitigated crying of PVPers those changes could be done in a reasoned and balanced way. As it stands PVP is taking resources away from the rest of the game, it is little wonder that there is such an uproar about other wasted dev time.
  12. If it was not for the constant whine by PVPers there would not be drastic changes made to the classes. Bottom line PVP is a cancer on dev time and resources.
  13. Semantics, the last resort of someone who has nothing to add to a discussion. It is also fairly common for the developers to BE the designers in studio's with limited employees, something you obviously refuse to acknowledge. A little history of Bioware research might actually improve your posting.
  14. Fixed that for ya, as the PTS forum is basically filled to the bottle rim with PVP whine. Well played OP, well played indeed.
  15. Really? Are you such an expert because you can use your thumbs to mash buttons? Pure XBG genius at work, thank you for the laugh.
