  1. Tas just doesn't like me -sniff- -sniff-
  2. Idk about now but I remember back on Shien where Ralen queued as a tank with three healers...
  3. I know right, so unrealistic, who would bang a jedi they're so boring, whining and annoying.
  4. The best part of Shien was the pvp community; a bunch of calm, nice people for the most part and very little complaining.... and pubside is dying cause pebbles and whatever troopers do is < lightning and fire, it's pretty simple.
  5. Since I came back and have been pvping it seems like there is a plethora of people who would follow me to the ends of the earth, sometimes when I'm lonely we go for a stroll through the warzone countryside, makes me feel special. So far it seems like mostly/exclusively male suitors but this girl likes too get her lez on also, so ladies feel free to chase too.

  7. Felt like you were doing a lot less "trying" but way more succeeding then the other ops.
  8. The fond memories of going around the pit with another operative, hidden striking the same person and they'd die before they got off the ground. Though the real reason I enjoyed it was; commando running animation + hidden strike knock down animation + the terrible server lag (back then it made people teleport well forward after you stunned them), if you timed your hidden strike correctly all those mixed together made it look like their character was running then tripped on their own and fell on their face. I feel bad for the people we did that to but the hilarious animation was priceless. Lately I feel like I'm getting paid back for my terrible deeds, **** you karma and all the ops trying to gank my under-geared ***.
  9. Since we do note server first on full clear and not on a boss by boss basis if you skip DG on NiM but clear the rest of it on NiM you're still only 4/5 NiM, I don't see a problem with that but while you sit at 4/5 or 2/5 or whatever, it should be noted in brackets what bosses you've skipped if you've skipped any.
  10. The word "empire" means the following merriam-webster dictionary: Definition of EMPIRE 1 a (1) : a major political unit having a territory of great extent or a number of territories or peoples under a single sovereign authority; especially : one having an emperor as chief of state (2) : the territory of such a political unit b : something resembling a political empire; especially : an extensive territory or enterprise under single domination or control 2 : imperial sovereignty, rule, or dominion 3 capitalized [Empire State, nickname for New York] : a juicy apple with dark red skin that is a cross between a McIntosh apple and a Red Delicious apple ____ It's The Imperial faction not the empire faction that red symbol everyone knows is the Imperial Crest. The Imperial faction is ruled by an empire, The Galactic Empire, sometimes referred to as the improper "The Empire". ____ Wookieepedia - List of Empires in Star Wars: The Infinite Empire, created by the Rakata sometime before 30,000 BBY. 13. Well I've gotten quite a few whispers since Decipere removed himself from the crafting thread and I'm posting here to announce <Empire> is leaving the competitive raiding scene, after a rough December with a big hit in leadership, raiding members losing interest, and with a rooster already difficult to maintain at the level of skill and dedication we've come to expect up to this point we have decided to move to a more causal raiding presence. Well this isn't the end of <Empire> I'd still like to take the time to publicly thank <Empire> members past and present for their contributions to our raiding prowess to give us one hell of a good year run. Thanks, Healers: Sorcs; Lorren - For being my healing partner though the early days of KP&EV! Selene – For being my healing partner through our HM EC push and one of the strongest most dedicated members since joining (one of the few to get my “elitist” stamp of approval before joining.) Eiluna – For being consistent healing presence which is always appreciated. Animosity – For stepping in when I really needed you especially resubscribing when I didn't have the people to make a HM TFB push at release. Operatives: Plummin – For bringing strong heals to some of latest progression pushes. ( You're still a weird dude) Kori – especially for filling my shoes in group one when I need a break. Mercs: Kolten - Making me think merc healing isn't as bad as I may like to think it is… though you're still too nice, I'm still not convinced you're not a serial killer .. Fi – You sat out on HM EC progression but were almost always there in case we needed you, I don't think I ever thanked you for that but it was always really appreciated. Tanks: Oyeb – Wonderful tank and all around member, glad you're sticking around cause I couldn't imagine raiding without you. All the tanks that have ran with us: Charon, Kharon, Darkscythe, Brendeezy to name a few DPS: Furis/Kallus – For crazy dps even though it's hard to get you to hold back sometimes. Bromontana – For my second blood thirst cause I need three but I'll settle for two. Gamlex – Extremely nice guy maybe the only person able to get in the guild as a social member without already knowing somebody and I think just about everyone in the guild agrees one of the fastest improving players we've ever seen, thanks for all your contributions in many forms. Calidus – for dpsing our early raids. ( I think you're back playing pub side wth?) Jeyts – always enjoyable ...Nice to hear you're coming back Candypain – For bringing some sweet pain to raids... yeah.. All the rest in the endless list DPS, and those tanks and healers I didn't list, especially those from the paradigm shift squad and all the PvPers for helping create the wonderful guild atmosphere Leadership: Bebop – For taking the initiative of starting up the guild when we were first sitting on are hands waiting for a raiding guild to pop up on Shien. Influence – For really helping out with stuff in the early days and shaping the guild, without you there wouldn't even be egg rolls and you know for doting everything so we can't possibly CC anything.... Iotasquared - … For Tanking, Raiding leading and help things run even though you can often be a pain in the ***. Decipere – For really stepping up when I needed you, running the day to day, guild bank and raid leading. Moto'vun -for all the things you constantly remind me you've done Oires- For helping put together and run a second raid in EV/KP days. Thanks guys, my stealthy, sexy behind the scenes work really doesn't function without you. Special thanks to all the guilds we ran with including; Bane, Shadow Council and Silent Council. Plus all those we've had trade agreements with. ____ <Empire> Apping: PvP Apping is going to invitation only, all open PvE applicants that are still interested be geared and ready at 3pm est on saturdays, send me a tell and if we have room we'll fit you in for a trial run.
  14. Though <Empire> hosted, the ones that competed were not the ones judging and keeping things running. As far as judging and assigned "hazards" It was a voluntary position filled by some of the nicest people around including Decipere, Kolten (may be too nice) and myself. As far as any shenanigans from the crowd be guildies, past contestants or neither can be hard to keep track of and control given the format of how/where we have to host events like this in the game. For any unsung alliances in the arena I think that was kind of part of the event, though I can tell you some people in our guild get twisted pleasure from killing each other, I know I still haven't paid Moto back for all the unnecessary fire pulls in huttball. I think as far the limited turned out from other guilds and such, I think the biggest response we got from a lot of PvPers was "I don't want to go, everyone is just going to focus me first." lol Now last but not least it really saddens me to hear you say in your posts that people think so poorly of <Empire> I think as a guild we've really tired to help out the community and love to see it flourish.
