  1. I have always wanted to know the same. I guess the freaky ear bumps hold the headbands on better?
  2. NSSN isn't a guaranteed win. The buttons can go inactive while solving it that way as well. It's not a mechanic, we've successfully solved clicking away as quickly as possible (which resulted in a SNNS solve) on one occasion while having NSSN bork and the buttons go inactive on another. It's just a random bug and the specific conditions aren't known, despite all the forum conjecture about NSSN being the way to solve it.
  3. The buttons randomly going inactive is absolutely a bug. If you don't know what's being discussed, you have no place responding. We've had the buttons go inactive while solving NSSN on a couple of occasions and on another occasion solved it just fine clicking away on both pylons as quickly as possible (which ended up solving it SNNS). It's a bug and it's random. It is confirmed that solving NSSN doesn't prevent it. Shh.
  4. I'm quite photosensitive myself and I am experiencing a level of discomfort with the new GCD flash as well. However, I feel that having a poll up the very next day requesting customer feedback is a clear indication that BioWare is interested in ensuring customer comfort and happiness. A poll like this, coupled with two clear promises to respect customer feedback given via the poll and responses in this thread, demonstrates reasonable responsiveness. I have my fair share of complaints too, but I try to be constructive and realistic when formulating and expressing them. If you need to take a couple of days off from the game while they code a new patch, do so. Your health should come before playing a video game. Expecting a patch to be turned over immediately is unrealistic and becoming "furious" is a fairly drastic response. I'm sure they're already overhauling the UI yet again based upon the feedback in this thread, but unless you give specifics as to what you want changed, you cannot expect much.
  5. I'm pleased to see a poll like this in response to all the complaints since 1.1.2's changes. My personal feedback is as follows: 1. The graphic for longer cooldowns is perfectly fine. It's very clear when a skill is nearing the end of its cooldown. 2. The universal FLASH as the GCD ends is bad (I feel that it's giving me a headache and my eyes rarely spend much time on my action bars). 3. Skills should remain lit in some way if they are available for use despite the GCD being in effect. While you may argue that one should know one's "rotation" or "priority", there are times during encounters where that rotation is going to be of lesser importance than movement and be disrupted. I'm fortunate as a DPS Commando and can simply watch my Charged Barrel count and/or the Gravity Vortexes on my target. Not all classes have such cues. Thank you.
  6. I've done that so many times. The worst is when people are joking around and you "add" something, then get SILENCE and you're pretty sure you horribly offended every single person in the raid for a bit. Good times!
  7. That one's simply a pain in the butt to get. I had to try it quite a few times myself. The ONLY time that you need Sprint turned off is when you're jumping onto the top of the lamp post. All other jumps can (and likely should) be made with Sprint on.
  8. Wow, kudos. VERY nice melee PoV kill videos. I especially dig the choice of tunes in the Soa video.
  9. While I have no clue why you would try to compare and contrast indoor and outdoor "environment" shots, anyone else find themselves referring to Voss as Azshara?
  10. I'm sure I'm going to take some flack for this response, but I would like the ability to parse my DPS and/or healing throughput. If I could have just ONE add-on, it would likely be something akin to Recount. While I don't feel that being top DPS is the be-all, end-all, I do like to be able to gauge where *I* sit and my contributions to a raid. In second place, customizable raid frames similar to Grid. In distant third? A threat meter.
  11. For the most part, I agree with the OP. There has been the odd occasion, however, that I have ninja-invited someone nearby because they are obviously waiting to kill the bonus boss mob that I currently have at about 75% HP and I would feel silly finishing it off solo and forcing them to wait for respawn for no reason other than selfishness. I think I've done that all of 3-4 times and the individual has appreciatively accepted the ninja-invite each time and thanked me. I do, however, typically decline random invites unless it's glaringly obvious as to why I'm being invited. Sometimes, I'm in my own little world and happy to be there. That said, I'm about as social as they come.
  12. While I'd love to see some sort of free in-game re-customization (with limitations, of course), I would rather not see server transfers and character renaming become as abused as they did in World of Warcraft. I understand the need to implement server transfers to allow folk to move onto a server with friends, but a three day cool down on the process just throws all accountability out the window. I would be in favour of server transfers if they had a one month cool down and were not as easily abused. I'm in the "No LFG tool!" camp for the same reason. I played World of Warcraft from closed beta until Cataclysm and was unimpressed with what I feel the LFG tool did to the community. I understand that the LFG tool did not make individuals behave in one way or another and that the inclinations were always there, but it certainly set a precedent for lack of accountability that an increasing number of individuals were willing to take advantage of. I think your reputation on your server should bear some weight and that getting to know folk during a dungeon run, adding people to your friends list for future encounters, and generally communicating beyond just hitting a button are important. I'd really like to see server forums for community's sake, but that may be expecting a bit much with the sheer volume of servers that there are. My fingers are simply crossed for this one.
  13. There's a guy running around on my server with The Bieber Legacy. I had to laugh.
