free 2 play games always have lots of hackers. One of the reasons I don't play fps anymore. When Bioware states in the launcher that they will suspend hackers, you already know, it is becoming rampant. PvE is getting affected too but not as much as pvp.

Juggernaut and marauders will always be on top so it is safe to reroll to them. This is star wars. The PvE side of this game is what makes money. Guess what? A lot of PvE players like to play juggernauts and marauders because the whole star wars universe revolves around them. Every dang star wars fanatic wants to be obi-wan, luke or darthvader. It is going to be the same for pvp. They may nerf smash but they jugg/mara will always be on top. Look at the armor in the cartel. The most intricate and complicated designs revolves around the jugg/marauder or jedi knight/sentinel.

No that is a graphics glitch. There is no reason they will only float a little bit off the ground. It serves no purpose.

I already pointed out and said what kind of hack it is but Bioware deleted my post because we are supposed to pretend there are no hacks in this game. After F2P the hacks are just rampant now. That is a different hack. When people fall off the floor, they continue falling off because there is no ground that they can stand on. The only way they can float and hit you is because they are using a hack that will let them fly through the Z axis of the game.

I have to agree on the less premades. At 50, people do premades because it is easier to gear up and own other players. There is a big incentive to premade at 50. At 10-49, there isn't that much of an incentive. There is still a big gear gap though in any bracket. However, you will hardly ever see 5 min/maxed geared player premade in lowbie bracket.

I don't know where you came from but if I want to get data, I'll just rip off the hard drive and take it back.

This game does not bolster low levels enough. This is all I know. Even with purple gear, I could not get my primary damage to 600+ below level 40. It was somewhere around 580ish. However, when I reach level 40, it was so much easier to get 600+ primary damage. Gear wise, stat wise, and talent point wise, level 40s have all the advantage. This game's pvp is not popular enough that I could not find a formula. I can find a lot of PvE formula but for pvp bolster, all you get is a dev quote saying, the better you gear up, the better your stat will be.

Right now, the most fun class is the sorc if you know how to bind keys at least. Best 1vs1 class. It takes a long time to kill someone 1vs1 but I can win with 75% health just because of a lot stuns and roots plus insta heal/bubble. Most people play jugg/mara though cuz people like to dps.

No Mercs? To answer the OP. Smash is overpowered. I know, I play marauder and I love annihilate tree. However, I would be stupid not to go rage. Smash hits harder than the 41 talent point annihilate, has lower cooldown and smash is a force attack which cannot be parried. Annihilate can be parried, shielded and etc. Sorc is the worst dps(damage per second) class in the game and subpar healer compared to the Operative. Without bubble stun, noone will play this class. Assassin hybrid - a little bit better dps than the sorc but still sucks compared to jugg, pt and operative. If the hybrid does not have pull, and 1.5 sec stun, players may as well play a marauder. PT is pretty good but only one tree that is viable. Merc - lack of insta casts makes this class really suck. Operative, sniper - they are average dps but really boring to play. TLDR: In short, jugg, mara, sorc are the only fun class to play right now. You can make a fortune selling guardian mods, and armor in the gtn. LOL I make 500k a day selling this. But credits are useless in pvp so I don't even care. Noone even buys reflex, or skill items. It takes me a week to sell just 5.

White damage is weapon based damage. Do you even know what white damage is?? When you hit a mob, a white or yellow damage pops up. It is how you know whether the ability is force/tech or normal damage. It is the way the game works. Remember this is a RPG and damage numbers are computed with a roll of a dice or random number generator(RNG). Unfortunately, the game can either crit or defend an attack. So when a crit happens, it cannot be defended, shielded, parried and etc. So defense is useless against a smasher. This is the way I remember it, they may have changed this already though.

An AOE shouldn't be the most damaging ability in the game or any game. It shouldn't hit harder than single damage. It shouldn't be given to a TANK. The best DPS ability should be given to dps or caster dps and not a tank. Lastly, a pvp spec should not have a big advantage in terms of gear or stat returns. While every class spends stat points on crit to maximize dps, a smasher does not need crit and can put those points into surge. When you combine all of this, it is easy to see that the spec is OP. However, I do not have a problem with this because I play a marauder that is smash spec also.

If Bioware states that they are going to ban cheaters for hacking in this game in the SWTOR launcher then you all should know that hacks exists and it is being rampantly used.

You are supposed to reroll jugg or marauder for 3 months. You can play around with sorc also. Don't you understand? Bioware does not have the resources to bring in content for pvp. We get content every 8 months. When was the last content patch for PvP? 8 months ago with nov coast and rated wz. All bioware can do is buff abilities and create FOTM classes to spice up PvP because they do not have the money. You know it is a fotm class when the buffed ability or abilities still suck in PvE or operations. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO REROLL JUGG/MARA/SORC. Right now, you are supposed to reroll sorc to play around with bubble stun to entertain yourself for a couple of months.

Just reroll pyrotech.
