Well, if you started with 1 elo and win all your 10 placement matches you land up between 1000-1200. I think this is punishment enough for a whole season..on every character. Let them enjoy their wins:d Btw they don’t get queued as 1 elo player. Queue takes them as something around 800. That‘s why you earn the above mentioned placement.

So I can speak for a few on eu that we need slight changes but people making drama about this although it’s not that bad like it’s shown in this thread. I am fine with no changes and so are many other people. They would discuss here if there would be something real bad to discuss about. Whatever a top3 player is btw

You played nothing if you earned 5-10k tokens. This system avoids placement hunters to earn rewards by playing 10 matches.

Did you ever think about that people actually queue to just PLAY. It’s not everyone’s target to get tier1 or top3 even if you land high on the boards.

Human beings and, believe it or not, animals such as our close primate cousins, have an intuitive understanding of fairness. A fair competition is considered fun, but if it turns out you never had a chance and the cards were stacked against you that sense of fun goes out the window. When someone cheats in a multiplayer game it ruins the experience for other non-cheating players. Those people stop having fun and then leave the game, which obviously the developers want to avoid because it loses them money. This is true for every game except SWTOR. And that’s the problem. Our developers want to avoid losing money in general which means banning people, even if they cheated, make them losing money. People will never stop queuing ranked and quit the game just because someone over-traded them or whatsoever. Stop queuing ranked, show a sign, you will be surprised what it can do.
