  1. I will get back to you guys when I hit 50 with full Champion or BM gear, we will see how much changes vs how bad QQ'ers are at life stating its all about the lvl 50. A players skill throughout his lvling and experience is always consistent with how effective they are in pvp. I haven't even noticed a difference on my brothers account but he has 2 centurion/ 3 champion ... token bags screwed him over.
  2. True, but even in the 50 Brackets on my server the well played operative always top the charts with an insane kill to death ratio. I have noticed a steady increase in survivability as I level up, and I don't even have my Stealth opener yet. I have noticed a lot of operatives switching to Lethality and I laugh because a smart MERC/operative can cleanse their team mates of the dot relatively fast. At any level, gear is a factor, but more importantly is the approach to the game (skill). And I won't discuss expertise gear with you because it creates a huge disparity between skill and stats in PvP. Even though it is at endgame, the most defining point of the game, I personally believe Bioware needs to reevaluate the importance of expertise ... especially since most ranged dps can just blindly tap a button for insane dmg and outrageous heals. The main purpose of this thread was to make players conscious of their own misdoings, since we have no control over systematic issues. None of the competent operatives in my guild , or server complain about their class.
  3. I currently have a lvl 50 Juggernaut, 32 Operative, and everything else in the 20's range. I have been around since the first day of EGA. And my statement here is short and simple the people who are complaining have no clue how to play their class. Operative isn't worthless at all... people usually forget their roles during PVP or in PvE and get driven by their arrogance and ego. Things to keep in mind pre-50 brackets (its all about expertise in 50 brackets): The rating of your gear in regard to your level directly impacts how much dmg you do. So if your lvl 33 and wearing lvl 25 greens your dmg will be gimped. I have played a lvl 50 operative pre-nerf on my brothers account, and never really used the over powered rotation that got smacked with the nerf bat... I utilized a hybrid spec, which I won't share with you since you will QQ even more about how its ineffective instead of admitting your brain damaged LOL. I'm not here to optimize your rotations, or give you advice because frankly as you lvl up you should be doing that on your own. That is apart of the experience ... developing your own playing style instead of researching how to melt face without really understanding stealth combat. Unfortunately I do not have any videos to show you, but 100% of all my warzone team mates will back me up with my claim that at lvl 22-32 I would on average have 8 medals. 190k dmg 1 death, biggest hit at 2.4-2.8k , biggest heal at 3.2k, 92k heals 1600 objective. And the reason why i say 100% of all my warzone team mates will back me up... because they all added me to friends list and I could ask them at any time. This isn't meant to be a brag post, well I guess at this point it is. This is what I want you Trolls and QQ'ers to think about: 1) Essential - What spec am I committed too? - what roles does this require me to play? - whats my combat mechanic ? - Which two stats should I focus on to maximize my role? - is my rotation in sync for maximum dmg - maintaining CDs 2) What are my weaknesses? - I don't keep up to level with gear - I dont utilize environment (LOS + picking of packs / back to wall / escape route) - Poor energy management - I forget to use utilities appropriately (a lot of operatives I talk to forget they have a "toxic scan") - poor target choice ( don't pop out of stealth when there are three reds next to each other and no other greens to blend in with) - don't have a knock back (but, we get a short CD on DB, and snare) 3) Analyzing your target - what buffs does he have active - What spec is he - how does he respond to attacks (fight or flee) - does his rotation suffer drastically from a well placed mezz This maybe asking to much, or possibly completely inappropriate because I know its unlikely -> ask yourself what you do wrong before raging on others
  4. umm, I don't know what any of you are talking about. I have a lvl 44 Juggernaut and a lvl 40 Operative spec'd concealment. 1) My Juggernaut has no problem killing an Operative who isn't spec'd heals in under 3 seconds (lvl 36+ IA with heal spec has a passive that lets them spam heals when the target is below 30%, but a stun and a dot will be enough to screw them over). None of my guild mates have a problem killing Scoundrels or Operative... they fall fast if you use stuns/interrupts properly. 3 big hits is all all you need to drop a lvl 50 operative. 2) A good player who knows how to use resolve will drop an OP in 3 seconds, ask Rinzler on Saber of Exar Kun... I have seen him on multiple occasions as a lvl 50 Marauder take on 2 operatives who get the first hit. they aren't OP at all.... it really depends on a players skill as well as gear. You can't crit higher than 3.6 K if you don't have the proper Surge stat. I have seen an assassin/shadow crit higher and more frequent with Recklessness/Consular equivalent . Its the acid coating on the blade, lvl 40 Concealment spec that lets OP spike, it ignores 50% of the targets armor. P.s: all you have to do to avoid getting "SHANKED" is be conscious of where your back is during the fight, Jesus. If he starts strafing or jumping use a stun or snare... and use your big hit rotation... he will die. OH yeah, by the way guys the Operative is suppose to be a nuisance to isolated squishes, and even then a smart SORC knows how to get away or even fry the operative with lightening by using Overload with snare, or catching him with a dot. DOn't complain because you know the purpose of a class but don't know a way of neutralizing their advantage.
  5. Hey guys, I'm going to be brief, if you have a new video card that exceeds the min requirements for graphics, but still receive in game lag. This will help tons, TURN OFF YOUR SHADOWS IN GRAPHICS.... BOOM if that doesn't work then check your connection to your server, monitor your packets, and update your driver. CTRL+SHIFT + F for FPS in game.
