  1. Only 2 things can happen at this point when you servers are this unreliable: 1) Things change on the SWTOR end i.e. Compensate players when the servers crash, allow character transfers elsewhere, build new servers, put f2p on another server etc. 2) Things change on the Subscriber end: cancel subscription and spend the time/money/energy elsewhere (which a lot of people will threaten but not ACTUALLY do since they've already invested so much of the above in to this game and the Irrational Escalation of Commitment is one heck of a drug...) At the end of the day, yes we're all Gamers but we're also consumers, and consumers vote with their dollars...
  2. ... it's possible. By the same logic, maybe EA/Bioware would be better off without customers? There's got to be a better way to hang out with my little brother 500 miles away without having to get sucked back in to Panda-Land.
  3. Unfortunately, I'm leaning heavily towards "no." Has been a really fun game, but if you can't count on it AND you have to pay for it, ***? Look at it this way, Bioware and EA work for US if we're paying them the money to play this every month. Change the paradigm: You think your boss wouldn't be considering replacing you if you performed like this at work? EA/Bioware: Fix this for good or say goodbye to your most loyal customers and a huge chunk of your business (obviously we're a huge percentage if the server is filled to the brim EVERY NIGHT to the point of crashing...)
  4. I agree completely about optional transfers. I'd like to transfer my whole legacy to another server. They've GOT to get this fixed or I'm just going to drop my sub and roll a private server for a week or two until I get bored and they lose me forever... Not the best way to run a business here. I understand trying to draw new subs with teaser F2P accounts, but really. Before you implement that, take care of your subscribers...
