I mean… to be fair, you can’t say you want to gear up 21 characters and you’re a casual player. I think that definitely falls into more of a hardcore category doesn’t it? I’ve been playing solo/casual and have been doing just fine in my 320 gear. 1 toon has like 3 pieces of 322 and 1 legendary but I still feel like I wreck solo stuff in just 320 gear.

Well that's actually a little terrible. The way I read Musco's quote was that inside KotFE, anything goes with companions, but outside of that it's business as usual. I've had early access for 2 days now and I still haven't done a single KotFE story mission yet because I don't want to lose the companions I have.
-
So what actually happens to your companions once you start the new content? I've heard people saying they lost their companions for good but after that live stream Musco said So what's the deal? If I grind Kaliyos influence up a few levels, then start KotFE and end up losing her or she dies during the story, will she still be gone if I want to go do dailies on Yavin or quest with a buddy?

Ok thanks. I don't know if I'll be getting a set bonus any time soon but until then I'll check out the ziost enhancements. And obviously for a jugg tank I'll want more def than anything else right? I noticed a lot of the comm gear has shield and absorb on it. I guess I'll have to buy multiple copies of things to get decent stats won't i? Any suggestions on which?
-
I know it's an old thread but this is relevant to what I'm currently going through so I'll ask here. Should I just get all Ziost/all Yavin gear, or some mix of the 2? Or buy certain pieces of gear multiple times to rip the mods from to get better optimization?

Nothing super big to add, but I once read a tip that has always stuck with me. When you're healing, especially in a raid, don't try to keep everyone at 100%. Unless you have some easy downtime and can rapid shot some people to top them up or something, don't bother.

Man haha. a week of wanting to come back to TOR, been working long hours, busy all weekend, finally get a spare hour to play and try getting back into one of my 8 my characters, and this happens. Figures, haha Shouldn't have transferred so soon.

Game Update 3.0 Class Changes: Commando + Mercenary
xJACKTHERIPPERx replied to TaitWatson's topic in General Discussion
"Supercharged Celerity: Requires and converts 10 stacks of Supercharge to issue Supercharged Celerity to you and your Operation group members within 40 meters, increasing alacrity by 10%. Lasts 10 seconds." haha. Incoming celery jokes -
Well that's still a month away. I'm ok with spending the comms now if it'll help me out a bit more in pvp. I may not even be playing pvp by the time 3.0 comes out.

Hey all, I've just come back to the game after about a year, and after finishing off the last few characters I wanted to level and getting them kinda geared up, I wanted to start getting back into PvP and I was just looking for some info. I did some math and figured out that I have enough comms across all my toons to fully gear one toon in the basic PvP gear but I'm just not sure which one to gear. I'm thinking my scoundrel so I can dps or heal, depending on my mood and stealth is always useful. So how are scoundrels doing atm? Are they in a fairly good place in PvP right now? Also, how much does the pvp gear actually help? I'm just not sure how it works with the bolster and everything because when I added up all the expertise you get on the gear, I came up with 1800, but entering a WZ with 0 expertise, I get bolstered to 1856. So when you have around 1800 going in, does it bolster you even higher?
