  1. The class stories can be explained because the events of each class take place at different times within the story. The only real story inconsistencies I know of are on Hoth Master Sav is killed in both the Republic and Imperial planet quest line and on Alderaan Boris Ulgo is killed or captured by both the Empire and Republic in the planet quest lines. I suppose both could be explained though because Master Sav is said to have an extreme knack for survival and Boris Ulgo could have escaped or been busted out if he was canonically captured in at least one of the planet quest lines.
  2. This was elaborated on in the old 1990's West End Games Star Wars RPG. Basically the stormtroopers were said to be elite and are part of this group: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Stormtrooper_Corps while the regular Imperial soldiers who were never really seen in the movies outside of vehicle pilots were part of this group: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Imperial_Army. However this information only applies to the movie era and as far as we currently know the stormtrooper-like Imperial Troopers are the standard in TOR.
  3. Archon was a a Greek word meaning rule or lord and was used by leaders of public offices. Heres an article about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archon
  4. Despite doing all the quests and making an effort to pass by these characters whenever possible and sometimes stop and wait, the NPC bystander conversations rarely trigger. I would recommend making sure these trigger once when the player first walks by the NPC's at the appropriate time and then be able to trigger the conversation again at any time by clicking on them.
  5. Whats interesting to contemplate is rather or not the Force is alive. Kreia certainly thought it was, and the Force can be wounded or disturbed, and it is said to protect certain people which suggests some kind of consciousness. You could argue if the Force actually is some kind of evil entity it would allow Force sensitives to exist and manipulate its power knowing that it wouldn't have to do any work because the users would form various organizations and war against each other because of philosophical opinions, these wars serving its never ending quest for balance. Assuming it is alive why the Force would even want balance is another question though, as is why does it exist.
  6. And yet there's over 1,000 years of time after the games start point unexplored by the expanded universe. It doesn't make any since to have the Empire lose this early when we have time for a lot more adventure.
  7. If you use the "killing you will be such fun!" option you won't get any alignment points however if you don't take that opportunity and continue the conversation it ends with the choice of sparing him to lead your cult for dark side points or killing him for light side points.
  8. Is there any way to spare Lord Paladius without leaving him in control of the cult? It strikes me as somewhat odd that the light side choice is murdering him, exile or something would make more sense.
  9. Can a mod move this to Star Wars Discussion? It has nothing to do with the games story.
  10. Lucas has a strict policy about the EU never expanding Yoda's race. Entire works have never been published for trying to do this.
  11. Are there any plans to feature characters from the SWTOR novels in-game? Many characters like Agent Vii and Eldon Ax were very memorable.
  12. But we have about 1,000 years of unexplored territory in this period of the expanded Universe so why destroy the Empire so soon?
  13. It would be cool if it could be done right but that would be difficult. I think the Vong would notice and send war ships if a scout party went missing.
  14. Originally SW's weren't able to be aliens because it wouldn't make sense being that they are from a noble Sith lineage, however this added little room for race customization and they added it at the last minute. I presume its non-canon.
