  1. Looking for a Republic PvE progression guild that raids during the week in the afternoons or early evenings (Sun-Thur ~1pm-6pm Central US) I am an experienced raider both in this game and from LotRO but my work schedule keeps me from playing consistently during primetime. My raid progression in this game includes NiEV, NiKP, and ECHM. On my Shadow I am full Rakatta plus a few Campaign/Black Hole, and my Commando is full Rakatta Best way to contact me is by sending an in-game message to Daishi
  2. Balance Shadow (10/0/31) PVP: Balance Shadow (dps shadow in general actually) seen by others as a sub-par dps class for pvp. Other classes prefer to see a Kinetic Combat Shadow, or simply another dps class PvE: Balance Shadows seen by others as the preferable Shadow dps spec for pve but most would prefer to run with a Sentinel for melee dps. I think the Balance Shadow has acceptable damage output for most current content. But I think the level of "utility" and "survivability" that is advertised with the class is overblown when considering end-game content such as Operations and Ranked Warzones. The spec is soft with only brief defensive cooldowns and a hazardous Force-Cloak that prevents incoming healing. Stuns are on a relatively long cooldown (which often are useless in Operations anyway). The idea of self heals seems well placed, but currently seems to add little to the overall survivability.
  3. After completing Story mode Battle for Ilum, the 5 Daily Commendation reward was not granted Server: Drooga's Pleasure Barge Group: Guardian Tank, Sage Heals, Shadow & Sentinel DPS Flashpoint: Story-mode Battle for Ilum Time: ~1:30p CDT to ~2:30p CDT Flashpoint was completed using the Group finder tool **Only completed the main quest-line, did not complete bonus quests**
  4. As the game stands now, the schematic GUI is incredibly bulky and cumbersome. The list of schematics can become increasingly long, especially if a player makes a concerted effort to learn all of the available schematics from Reverse Engineering. And often, these schematics are listed in an obscure fashion, even after Sorts have been chosen. Does the team have any plans to update the crafting schematic GUI to make it more streamlined and easier to find schematics? When could something like this be implemented? Are there any other details that you can pass along at this time?
  5. I didnt have a clue, went back to Infiltration
  6. ok thanks, i guess it seems like a bit of a waste since it only lowers it by 3 secs. but none of the other options (Subduing Tech, Shadowy Veil, Kinetic Field, Situational Awareness) lend themselves to a high burst build.
  7. bumping my question. think it got overlooked
  8. In your Infiltration build, do you find that the reduced cooldown for Force Breach from Security Breach makes a difference? Do you use Force Breach on cooldown, or do you wait and watch your Exit Strategy buffs?
  9. to the OP... The developer response to REing NWAI is now quoted in the sticky-ed thread on Guide to Reverse Engineering...HERE
  10. My All-Around Build (5/33/3) http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601McZhGbRkhrrtzZc.1 For some reason, I don't see the point to Upheaval. It occurs less than half the time and only does 50% of normal damage. Now to me, that seems to imply the damage the base skill does w/o buff from Procs. If I'm wrong, please say so. I am open to changing my mind about this. But you also have to waste 2 points just to get the second tier of Balanced unlocked to spec Upheaval. -2% damage taken it not as valuable as +6% damage to CS. I don't see the point of Security Breach in my build. Once you get up further into Infiltration, you end up waiting for your Exit-Strategy buffs, so being able to use Force Breach 3 sec more often seems like wasted points. One part of my build that I am actively questioning, is Situational Awareness. I basically took it to make Battle Readiness on the same cooldown duration as Force Potency. The reduced force cost of Whirling Blow (and the added damage from Applied Force) make AoEing a little more useful, but it is not a deal breaker. The points would likely go to Elusiveness for added survivability.
  11. To address the OP... In my own opinion: When I go to an Open World PvP zone, I expect to PvP... To preform PvE actions (i.e. killing NPCs) in a PvP zone is contradictory, unsatisfying and annoying. So if I have to pull/fight NPCs to get to my PvP goal (killing other players), its gonna get old. Having played LotRO since open beta and being well versed in the nature of the Ettenmoors, coming to an Open World PvP map with ZERO NPCs is incredibly refreshing. I can freely fight any Imperial I find, anywhere on the map (exception of Imperial/Republic base) without thinking about... "where is this guy gonna try to run when he starts to get low on health?" "how close can i get before the NPCs aggro me?" "id better not heal that guy too much that just ran into a group of NPCs to get the kb on someone who was low health, ill probably get all the aggro." "i want to go to the ettenmoors, but no one else on my faction is out...oh i know, ill go stand in the middle of all my NPCs and watch the other side watch me"
