  1. Just a simple bye thread, not even a clue why I make it hihi. Anyway, Game is not fun for me anymore, it was fun for a few weeks but last days i bin staring around pondering what to do and realized that I simply had nothing else to do but run to the next quest and kill a few more x and y's. I liked the whole story part but after act one it just becomes to far between and the game slows down to much for me. crafting is fairly useless until 50 (for the most part) and just a big credit sink till that time(whit a few exceptions) Roleplay is .. well I do believe there are a few guilds and people that are active but 90% is non-existent, I personally blame the utter lack of any tough on the Mather by the developers. O well, wish the best to sw:tor and its community, perhaps I check in a few months if the game got some improvement. Take care ..
  2. /shrug.. I Just stop paying if they cant realize some of the basic needs, sure I might even play a month longer after the first 30 "free"days but theres a lot of interesting games on the horizon who probably do basic rp mechanics way better then sw:tor. Perhaps I just dint expect as much from sw:tor to start whit, Mass products usually do not lead to quality.
  3. Im not to fuzzed about it, sure I cant login and play but eh its a game not something super important just something I do for fun.. that said, 99% of all mmo's have split servers timezones, they update each timezone in thier best suited downtime.(in a lot less time) cost are nothing, the argument that it cost money is complete ********, sure we haven't payed a subscription yet but thats incl in the box prize. and 1.5million*$15 is a lot of money. Its a simple -fact- that they dint care or think about this (to me small) issue, if they would care they would have explained the reasons to do it the way it is now. But eh, its a game, I play mmo's way to long and getting to old to get all ARGG about it If I get annoyed by it I simply stop paying /shrug.
  4. If a player can go to any zone unrestricted and loot something whit use of only game given skills and not any form of unintended misuse then its not a exploit. If this ban thing is true and the player did not use a real exploit (using a bug or something) then I will simply not sub to the game once my days are done for. you cant punish players for being smarter then game developers, never has a mmo never should one. That Bioware/EA shipped the game in a half finished state is not the players responsibility Questing works in sw:tor but thats about it,everything else needs work.
  5. Biochem is a great one to have, low level its great for the re-useable medpacks and stims for yourself, its makes those few non-solo bosses solo able. after all who does not like a self heal that fixes you for 3/4 of youre healthbar every 90 sec. as for market sales, besites implants theres not much you can sell till 50 , then the market will open up big time and you will make huge flows of cash. things is no lvl 33 is going to pay for youre stimms since they are darn expencive to make. the effort of upkeeping the grind to learn all those blue and purple recipe's is HUGE. as a biochem crafter in making you will be a poor broke hobo for a long long time.
  6. Talon run is worth 200 light/dark points, depending on companion a easy 200 affection. Orange drops (for looks) were you can chance the mods to you're level. alone as a lvl 20 you can do it in about 15 min if you skip the convo scene's.
  7. I must be crazy, all my ability's work just fine. press one, see 3 swings ..press next skill see two wings..press next skill. sure i can smash buttons but if the animation of the last aint done yet you either chancel that or get to smash the button some more. thing is, this aint ..here we go again.. wow. this is a highly animated combat system, animations are part of the system,as they dictate the time. wow is full of animations, but they dont do ****, you can click, click, click, click and animations will chancel each other out. in AOC they got the same deal as in sw:tor, animations dictate the flow of combat. a populair thing to do for pvp vets in AOC is to break the animations, to break a animation is to break the amount of dps you can do. in wow it does not matter if you break a animation ..since they are not part of the whole system. its why (not counting the actual work bad/good) sw:tor has smoot more cinematic animations while wow its just a fancy fake thing were you can kick, jump, roll, bash, die, standup, sit at the same time. well thats what I think about it, combat and animations are responding and working fine.
  8. you will find that diferent games react different to the binding software, in some games pressing MR <Gkey> <key combo> works fine, in others it does not directly. often it works when you close the game, open the software to bind keys, and set them in there. then restart the game. crtl+xxxx should work tho, I got a g110 and a g13 and on both it works fine.
  9. Nope bonus missions stay , they have for me, both taris and tatooine. but then, i also have a class quest in my list from act 1 while im in act 2 hihi
  10. while I agree that the slicing reduction was way to much, you should really do some crafting..try biochem for fun.. its a lovely craft that keeps you broke all the time. you dont get enough mats to start a production up for others, you're just busy trying to get those darn recipe's, In the end I hope it works out but until 50 i will be extremely broke since there is no market for stimpacks and medpacks yet. people don't have credits to buy my goods, its to expensive to craft and then sell. only at 50 endgame I can start turning my time and effort into credits.
  11. I already was so broke one time that at lvl 20 I could not fly away and had to grind a few mobs in order to pay the fuel prize.. thats all there is to it.
  12. Dont bother, every server has slightly more empire players then republic, its the nature of humans wanting to be ******. considering every server is full at times whit que's it cant be that bad.
  13. Dont think you can, seems its bound somewere to toolbar slot "1" and not to the key 1 Have not found any keybinding files on my pc yet (dint look very hard tho) might be its stored server side. might just be hidden some were. worse case its hard coded. at any rate.. we all know the UI is downright bad design, (as in functionality) who ever had lead and worked on it should bow their head in a little shame, Asian 100 in a dozen grinders have better control over their UI's but eh..thats sw:tor for you, great game but completely lacking of everything that makes playing it more enjoyable. UI, chat, bubbels, sitting, interaction objects.. none of that ..
  14. Not all healer/tank specs are viable in pve , up to 30 its fine, after that things get a little worse. there are "unbalances" in the game that makes even story content sometimes very very hard and/or unable to do whit certain class specs. goos for dps, heal or tank. and thats suppose to be solo content
  15. Hm, On the basic level I'm against everyone able to do everything, diversity is a good thing but looking back on about 20 years mmo experience theres no denial that in a holy-trinity game its simply required. personally I also remember countless games were I would be playing a support role of sorts ,be good at it but find myself stuck on random pve content since the DPS"s(or any class) could handle it but as a support I could not. smaller guilds having the need for outside help just to do tings, or leaving members behind due to a "wrong build" dual-spec will increase the loot whores somewhat but it will be easy to kick them out (since everyone can chance role then) and take up the role thats needed, besites that most people will go for orange mod able gear in time and simply chance gear on the fly or build a non-min-max set thats decent for everything as far flash points and pve work. PvP people already try to max their gear out and a good pvp team also runs out roles and tactics before hand. operations are big enough to take up specialized roles were you can pick gear and role before hand and need little switching. Theres not much of a reason not to have dual-specs in the game, the only problem might be for the pure dps classes. they will have the "look cool" factor but switching between dps..dps..and..dps might cause those classes to be played less then a healer/tank able class that can switch between at least two modes. and one thing, if we get dual-spec in the game for the pve and pvp players, I "demand" chat bubbles. we need chat bubbles it makes grouping so much better and pvp way cooler and pve way more intresting..right...right? pleaseeeeeee .. (got to keep our role-play needs heard )
