  1. Its not odd... You dont get a any direct buff to power. If a piece of gear gives to you 100 power, this is all that you get. If a piece of gear gives 100 aim, you will get 114 aim from it. If you wanna do a fair comparation between both stats, you should consider that taking a piece of gear with 100 aim gives to you 114 aim, so the comparation is between 114 aim and 100 power instead of 100 vs 100. Aim is better than power because of this fact.

There is a diminishing returns from aim also: This calcs are with the 14% extra aim that you get from talents+bufs. 1000 aim = 7.98 %crit 159.60 healing 1000 power = 170 healing (+10.4 healing, -7.98% crit) 2000 aim = 13.84 %crit 319.20 healing 2000 power = 340 healing (+20.8 healing, -13,84% crit) 3000 aim = 18.13 %crit 478.80 healing 3000 power = 510 healing (+31.2 healing, -18.13% crit) 4000 aim = 21.29 %crit 638.40 healing 4000 power = 680 healing (+41.6 healing, -21.29% crit)

  5. IMO you are sacrificing a lot of crit. The % crit from aim doesnt have dismising returns, which means that aim > power (because you get + 9% aim from talents). Im going for 35% crit unbuffed, 75% critical multiplier, 0 alacrity (only talents) and the rest into power: - Al augments should be aim+endurance - Take enhacements with power + surge or crit + surge So: aim > crit (35%) > surge (75%) > power > surge (>75%) > crit (>35%) > alacrity is my priority chain.
  6. So, only marauders and snipers are valid dps clases... You can heal as a merc, ofc, but is the healer class with less hps output and worst resource management. If you want a dps/healer hibrid, sorc is your class until they fix us ^^. Glad to help!

  9. I'm totally with jaxarale. We need improvements to be competitive with the other classes. We can also be diferent to them; in fact, we are diferents ><. Make our kolto shell usable in more than 1 target, for example; make our kolto misile inteligent healing... there are a lot of things that devs can do... but if we dont cry nobody is going to cry for us :S. I dont wanna be competitive: i wanna be as competitive as other classes that do the same job than me. Grettings and sorry for my bad english :S
  10. The problem is that our burst healing is not that good now... a sorc can keep a tank alive perfectly, just like us, with his shield and his 2 instant heals. New explosive conflict bosses usually split the raid in 2 groups, and i have to heal mine. I dont care if i heal them with aoe or with single targets heals, i just want an easy job there: a buff on our single target healing or on our group healing. Thanks a lot for the compliments, but i think that im not a good example to follow... Anyway, im glad to ask your questions. Again, excuse my english: 1) I try to use HS on cd, followed by a rapid scan, and keep the emergency scan... for emergency hehe. 2) Our raid is divided in 2 groups with a tank, a healer and 2 dps (2 meles and 2 ranged). 3) Im on my tank, and usually with the ranged party. My kolto misile usually hit only 3 targets because of that. 4) I use it when i need to heal my group dps and we all are getting dmg. This is common in explosive conflict. 5) If you are going to use KM, use it asap, because you will lose time targeting that can be used healing another player. 6) Keep you instant heals unused until you need them or if you know that there will not be high dmg in one target. 7) and 8) Im working on my askmrrobot profile, but in resume, im trying to eliminate all the alacrity from my gear and pick surge instead. The new commendation boots are perfect for that purpose.

  12. I just posted the logs because they where surprised about 1300-1500 hps in a mercenary... the point of this thread isnt that... You can see other fights in my logs where i use kolto much less... and still get 1300+ but again, that is not the point!! Anyway, i will be pleased to see your logs and see where and what im doing wrong. I use kolto misile so much because i see the hp of 3+ ppl going down and i think: they need heal now, also dmg reduction!! HS have a 7,5 seg CD, so i can combine both, but if there is a better way to heal that players i'll be happy changing my heal style. The point is that, potentially, a sorcerer can heal much more than we, and that diference should not be so high ><. If we dont move, we are going to be behind forever guys :S.

  14. I know that EH is the important thing here, but we cant calculate it. If you can do 2000 hps, that mean that you can, potentially, do 2000 EH. Thats why im asking for your hps guys...
