Yeah i have it slot one and or left click nothing happens

Is probably pretty simple, but I can not figure it out. Been playing for about 5 hours so far. my Rage is 0/12 how do I up my rage? I can not battle with out it. I keep dying lol Every time I half to battle I can not defend myself, it says low rage. Help? :(:(
