  1. If you check the amount of 50s on the servers, and the amount of 50s gear-ready for nightmare mode raiding, you would see that it's still a minority of people. BUT! I do understand that this is a different matter all by itself. The problem is progression. Since the game just came out, Bioware couldn't possibly evaluate how fast people were gonna clear the content or how fast fast people were gonna get geared. My guild is a lot more casual so I spend most of my time so we're not even raiding yet, but I do agree that once you get to it and learn the boss mechanics all the while getting stronger and geared up, you can farm gear like there's no tomorrow. The end game could definitely have more oompf, maybe more BoEs, gear pieces other than tokens in raids. I think enhancing the endgame without penalizing the more casual players is totally possible, but I don't think it's a fault to try and design a game that is appealing to a broader audience.
  2. I'm a Jedi shadow Infiltration, lvl 50, I got 8 champion pieces, 2 centurion, 1 columi (409 expertise) Operatives are really strong, but It only happened to me once that an one of them opened on me for 75% of my life bar. In a voidstar the same operative opened on me for 72-80% of my life like 3-4 times (down from full life, no resolve). I used my trinket once, but they they have more than one stun to prevent their rotations from being entirely broken. I'm not sure I'm ready to call them OP though. I think they're gonna have the same problem as the WoW rogue: caracters speciliazing in opening on the ennemy for a quick kill gets nerfed and QQ happens because their kit is now useless. Good operatives (and well geared ones) deal a ton of damage, but thats in a 1v1 if they open on you. Before saying they're OP and need a nerfbat, we need to analyze more than just our own pride. If he opens 1v2 he can easily be stunned, if he's pushed away his rotation fails, if he's knocked out of stealth by AoE he's very vulnerable. If you know an operative if ruining your warzone try different strategies.
  3. I don't know if any of you had this problem, but my 2 wins this morning didn't register towards my DAILY PvP quest. I have a friend who also has a similar problem. Wins are kinda rare on Republic side, so it's kinda frustrating...
  4. So I just got my level 50 and I wanna test some hard flashpoints. I did the first questline/dailies on Ilum and picked up the Daily and weekly quests from the terminal in the republic fleet. My question is, where should I hang out to look for a group? Ilum FPs are on Ilum only while the other FPs are available on the Republic fleet. Do people in endgame hang out on Ilum or the republic fleet?? When you land on Ilum, you see they want you to chill there because everything is available: the 2 FPs, trainers, Auction house, bank, mailbox, dailies. It's all there for your convenience, but the daily/weekly quest giver is on the republic fleet and there is no /serverwide chat or something for ppl looking to group up specifically for endgame stuff like hard FPs.
  5. Are you player as a shadow? Because Low slash helps a lot in these fights where you need to interrupt a lot. Otherwise, you can use force wave as an interrupt, although the casting time is long. Otherwise good luck!
  6. I'm playing a Jedi Shadow, lvl 50, on Ilum and I was wondering if any of you are having issues with stealthing. Many mobs here have stealth detection and I think the field of vision is just stupid. Here's why: I'm in front of an Imp (pve) and he doesn't aggro me. Without moving an inch, if I stealth, he aggros me. Isn't that kinda weird? Also, if I die, since I revive as stealth, I get aggroed immediately, which is not really practical... Finally, sometimes when I stealth mid combat to break stealth, I keep the aggro from like, 3 different patrols, even if they ran back like 3 planets farther away. Anybody having these problems? Cuz its really frustrating at times...
