Two other MMOs come out within 2 months of then, Tera and The Secret World. Good luck to those waiting for this magic patch to materialize....I'll be playing something that works as advertised out of the box. I wish I'd screenshotted my cancelation here, I made it super clear that EA and Bioware won't see another dollar from me.

Makes about as much sense as launching an MMO in 2012 with ability delays, no macros and no UI customization.

WoWs marketing used the same graphics playable in the game. If your rabid fanboism has blinded you to that, and you think the graphical differences between actual and marketed are insignificant, I have a bridge I'd like to sellyou. Be as happy as you want that people are leaving. I hear MMOs really thrive when masses of people quit.

Quitting an incomplete, buggy pile of graphical dog vomit because superior products are a couple of months away is hardly rage quitting. I considered resubbing to see if they'd fix things, but realized with the engine limitations, it's just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

It didn't hurt that the employee was very familiar with these threads and agreed that the advertisements were false.

There are roughly 10,000 posts and 6 maxxed threads about this. The graphics advertised are not the graphics you get in game. You get Minecraft resolution.

Since Gamestop is offering refunds on the game now (just returned my entire CE box) and Tera Online launches on May 1st, I won't be sticking around for a "graphics fidelity improvement" that may or may not happen sometime within the next 3 months. To those of you who think the graphics are just fine, aren't insulted by being sold a product that they continue to advertise falsely, or just don't care that zoomed in textures look just like Minecraft, more power to you. You can have your "everything in this game is amazing and needs no improvement" party when they start pulling plugs on the servers.
