  1. Your post is on a good topic. I don’t think this is top priority issue above fixing major bugs, but should be high on the list. I think the crafting system could benefit from a little reworking. Augment slots could be made into item enhancements that could be added to each piece of gear and each skill could get two patterns. One BoE at lvl around lvl 40 and BoP at lvl 50 or both at lvl 50. All BoP 'Add-Aug-Slots' should require the skill to use it and be unique. That would prevent min maxing and having only two patterns per skill would prevent anyone skill from being over powered. Having the BoP unique equip would also prevent skills that can craft AAS for items such as relics and implants from getting an extra AAS per that type of skill. Below is an example of the way it could be laid out. BoE: Armortech - Chest Armstech - Feet Artifice - Belt Biochem - Gloves Cybertech - Head Synthweaving - Legs BoP: Armortech - Offhand Armstech - Main hand Artifice - Relic (unique) Biochem - Implant (unique) Cybertech - Ear Synthweaving - Wrist If the changes put in place for end game armoring go into effect this would make a lot of sense because it would allow players to use the custom crafted gear and social to maintain unique look while allowing set bonus to be maintained throughout. It would also put money back into the economy. The BoP AAS items should require Rare crating materials from HM/NiM Ops for balance as well. This will scale for both PvP and PvE gear modding and encourage a distribution of players over content. Crafting criticals could be modified to allow for crafted gear to be made with a minor native bonus of +4/5 to some primary stat (Biochem could keep the chance for non BoP items to double proc but perhaps see a reduction of cost in materials for rare paterns), rather than adding the aug slots to items, since some min/max is not so bad for the economy and for serious Ops guilds it’s not unexpected. Or crafting criticals could be converted to allow larger bonuses to crafting times instead. Or removed all together. I am sure this has been considered by BioWare but in case it has not I would love to hear what people have to say and what the devs think.
  2. I'm sorry, I think you missed the point. The system should need to be on round robin for loot tables to work. Master loot should work in all three dificultys and in HM FP. There is no good reason for it not to at this point. The developers and publishers of this game should be aware that end game players at this stage make up most of their retail base for both continuing subscribtions and new referals. To shurk off crucial end game content is maddness. I am starting a thread to encourage all players upset with these bugs to ask to be prorated until these major bugs are fixed or publicly addressed and to stop paying for the beta. 3. After spending time in end game content I can say (and I am not alone in this) that it is very buggy. It would seem that it was either rushed out, not toughly tested or just put together poorly (possibly all three). I will give references bellow to these bugs, but first my point; at this stage the game still seems to be late beta and many people would not consider it fair to pay a monthly fee and not get a complete experience or at the least decent customer service to resolve outstanding issues. I am going to start asking to be prorated for all outages and time spent playing in incomplete and unfishable content. Examples would be Ops or PVP where you do not get credit for the weekly/daily. If they do not choose to have CSRs that can address the issue then they can issue a refund for the time spent. Since as their auto responder puts it, they are looking into it with no clear path to compensation or resolution. This is a more than fair solution to the public and I encourage all to read this and follow the same course of action until they either address these issues, get CSRs who can help the players or publicly become more transparent about what they are doing to fix them. Outstanding issues: HM Loot - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=302454 SoA fight - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=299642 AGAIN SoA - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=292203 No /roll - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=25697 And in general the frequent downtime - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=283554
  4. I think this demands an official response, not an blog post or a forum reply, but a front page response to all customers. I know that it is important to fix bugs, but they can wait at least a week for scheduled maintenance if they are not the type of issues that are affecting peoples access to the game. EA stands to lose more money from this type of behavior rather than just letting bugs sit for 6 days. It is also true that the testing process for the PTS is currently flawed because it can’t be tested thoroughly for high-end content. There are several ways to fix this however none have been chosen to be implemented or been discussed with the public. Intentions for the PTS should be discussed to alive public distress. It is also greatly disconcerting that listed fixes in patches to date have not actually been fixed such as Exotech schematics, Bonus series quests, Speeder emotes, Biochem adjustments (deployed without changes to tool tips causing confusion), Credit for PVP Daily/Weekly and Credit for Ops weekly to name a few. These kinds of things have a terrible effect on consumer trust because it shows a failure to be able to follow through and conveys a sense that things are being unnecessarily rushed to accommodate a few while inconveniencing many. It may be better to make the bug fixing priority and content change process known at this point (at least partially) beyond the scope of the PTS to allow customers to provide a wider range of feedback on issues. I am about to ask for my money back for purchase and a refund on my subscription. I am not saying that to be sensational, I am genuinely feeling as if I am not getting what I have paid for and would rather wait to get the game when these issues have been addressed. I am not the only one who feels this way as this is a common discussion among guild members and friends that play the game. Some have already taken this action. NATHAN RICHARDS
  5. I am lvling a sniper and have been having some issues with the cover system. Mostly in PVP. In very rare occurrences it has taken upwards of 20 seconds to engage cover, sometimes doing it so long after I push the button that I have forgotten about it and it will interrupt another action. On at least 2 other occasions it has put me into a space combat mission, the salucum fleet action I think. I was able to exit it and load directly back into hut ball both times but it is something I believe puts the team at a disadvantage being a man down. If it cant be fixed shortly I think I should be dropped from the team if it happens again. If anyone else has had this problem with cover I would like to know.
