  1. Agreed I think this is far too low. I'll mainly be spending time in arenas with the occasional WZ for dailies / weekly, but I was hoping to grind another set of gear for my tank jugg (dps gear), looks like now it'll take forever, even full time playing WZ..
  2. I beg to differ on the first point, I know for a fact ranked 8v8 would have continued to be played on the server I play on, granted a lot of new guilds will be creating 4v4 teams, but if anything, it would create the stepping stone into more competitive 8v8 ranked. Improving the ranked scene entirely
  3. This is the sole reason they are not going to make it craftable. They've made $150 from you alone, for absolutely nothing. Combine that with all the money they've got from other players doing the same thing.
  4. I'm not sure I'm big on this change, hardcore PVP'er here and enjoyed grinding for the weekly, even if I was solo queuing on a bad day, made it seem more worthwhile. As far as this goes, you shouldn't be allowed to queue solo for ranked, it's going to be nerfed eventually, because of PVE'ers joining and whinging why they are getting absolutely turbo ****ed all the time. Currently ranked on most servers is massively competitive, it wants to stay that way.
  5. Wasn't this promised before launch? Still waiting Bioware
  6. I figured as much it would be slow code/slow server side stuff. It's a shame because EVE on an SSD makes insane differences.
  7. It's probably not possible to do any significant changes to the loading speed, it will be determined by the engine used, which is fairly out of date in a few ways compared to other engines on the market. You could put swtor on an SSD, that either might do some minor improvements or drastically improve it, I don't know.
  8. For everyone still really pissed at this. I'd recommend making a support ticket. Forcing them to consistently individually read and reply to the same thing over and over might give them a hint that it's a bad idea. The majority of forum content goes on blind eyes when it comes to the staff.
  9. Also, throwing this in there, you guys have just released character transfers, charged 20 quid for a transfer. Which you knew fine well most of it was going to be PVP based, you had entire guilds spend a fortune moving to PVP servers, and then you take away the reason they move. Pretty shocking.
  10. Wait, you mean to tell me that you can only queue for pvp and not choose 8v8 or arenas? You just get to play what bioware decides. If thats the case you've really hit the nail on the head there and absolutely ruined PVP for the hardcore players. Back to the drawing board
  11. Are we going to be able to queue as an 8 man team in non ranked?
  12. Exactly this sort of crap, just joined a game, had a team that were down by about 40 points with 3 already sitting at our node - gave up almost immediately. I was in for half of the game and finished with second highest damage, the ones that were fighting were beyond clueless. And there is people complaining in the chat about crap team. Welcome to Red Eclipse PVP.
  13. Is this still going on? I'm in a new guild but we're trying to venture into PVP, just lacking a massive interest. This seems like it would be right up my street, I've been solo PVPing for a while, struggling to find a team of fairly casual PVPers, not super hardcore though. I also have voice comms.
  14. Agreed, I think the 55 level PVP state is still pretty grim on empire side at the moment, haven't played any < 55 for a while. But it's taken me around 20-25 games to get my weekly. I've frequently been experiencing people going off to node guard, not calling incomings at all, even after death. People taking orbs on hypergate and running around with them instead of bringing them to pylon. Tanks not using guards at all. Things like this that level 55 players should know if they're choosing to play PVP. It makes solo queuing frustrating
