  1. Bioware DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PVP. They took ilum away from us because pve'ers didnt want to wait until the fight happened. They still have not added rated warzones and we're about to have 1.3 released, with no rated warzones as well. That means at least 1 (probably 2) sets of pvp gear are unattainable under the current system. This is a joke. A very sad joke. They continuously add for pve and so far the total pvp maps has basically stayed the same, +1 for novaire coast -1 for ilum. While pve gets additional maps we only get replacements. Im done with this game and with bioware in general. Makes me sad since i loved this game for so long, but i refuse to use my money on a game that wont appeal to my side of the population.
  2. Tired of pvp being the afterthought of this game. And for anyone who says they gave us a new warzone, and we have rated on the horizon i say this... 1. The new warzone brings the total number of pvp maps back to what it originally was, 4. Dont forget that ilum was, for all intents and purposes, removed from the game. 2. We have new raids, new ops, new mission areas and yet, still no persistant pvp groups. So fun manually putting the team together after every warzone. This has been talked about since early beta. 3. Pve'ers, and/or bad pvper's are now rewarded for losing games. This is an obvious knock on pvp as there is no such reward from ops or hardmodes. Wtb my full rakata from walking into nightmares pls and ty 4. The exlusion of rated warzones. This is rediculous. Also, this shows the lack of caring for the pvp community as a whole. They would have never, in a million years, released a patch with full pvp maps upgrads and features only to say that they had not yet finished the raids and they would come out sometime in the future. 5. Lack of anything other than queing for warzones to do. Ilum is now worthless, den has always been worthless. So, what do us pvp'ers get to do, sit in a corner in fleet and wait until we are allowed our 15 minutes or less of actually playing the game. Why should pvp'ers keep paying subscriptions, only to have our money spent on pve concerns.

You get Flashpoint gear for completing (winning) flashpoints You get Operation gear for completing (winning) operations You get PvP gear for PARTICIPATING in pvp if i go into a warzone and get my teeth kicked in and we lose 6-0 i get rewarded. if i go into an operation and wipe on the first boss for 2 hours i get nothing because i did not win. so its okay to fail hard at pvp but not pve?
  4. Since baddies in pvp can grind their way to gear without winning, where can i get my operation gear without beating a boss? Now people can lose all day while not really caring what happens, so why cant i do that in a pve instance? oh right bioware hates pvp Ilum world pvp - removed from game -1 new warzone added +1 no rated warzones -1 nothing to do in pvp except stand in a city and que for warzones -1 1 addition so far for pvp.... if you ignore taking ilum away flashpoints and ops added for pve.... Hell just think of what would have happened if they had released rated warzones and said sorry the pve content isnt ready but we'll release it sometime in the future.... wait that wouldnt happen because they would have delayed the patch release.
  5. Since grinding for pvp gear no longer even requires winning, i want to know what operation i can join to go and wipe on bosses without downing one and get my rakata anyway. You dont have to win why should i? So tired of bioware loving on pve and loling at pvp

    Pve>Pvp yet again

    So.... i enjoyed this game in the begining. What with open world battles in ilum to break up the monotamy of warzone grinding, it was enjoyable. Now with ilum dead, the only thing on the horizon has been rated warzones. I have 2 battlemasters, ive grinded enough warzones. Ive carried enough 12k health tanks and 10k health healers through games when they shouldnt have even been there. Ive hardly been playing the last 3 weeks or so because im simply bored with pvp in this game. Everyday its the same thing. And outside of a whole 4% more stats for battlemaster gear, there is absolutly 0 point in pvp. No reputation, no cool achievements to attempt to get.... its just the same thing. Now, our main pvp update is being delayed. How long has this patch been in the works? Because it seems like 'rated warzones' are just gonna be a carrot on a stick to keep people paying. It saddens me, because i have gotten so many real life friends to play this game, but if this is what i should expect, for pvp to be put on the back burner (to make sure its as good as it could be....) I love how the solution to the monotonus instanced warzone grind is a new warzone, cool and all.... but im tired of running instanced warzones give me some meaningful pvp either open-world or rated So far all i see for pvp really is, the loss of the only area for open world pvp and the tease of true instanced pvp. If rateds or a new openworld area dont come soon i will look elsewhere, and feel free to flame me for saying i wont pay to play a game that bores me.
  7. Okay ill preface this with the fact that i am a hardcore pvp'er. My op ,my second character, is currently bm with 650 expertise. Right now my pvp teams love me for my burst, control and ability to ninja nodes. What i want to know... is with the nerfs to operatives damage, and the lack of nerfs to the hybrid tank spec assassin, why in the world would any competent group in rated warzones take a concealment operative over an assassin. We have less health, lower sustained damage (worse now), worse survivability buttons (evasion is trash in pvp), and now our control 1v1 is virtually the same. The cooldown added to hidden strike stops us from doubling up on the knockdown, which was a big reason we could solo a majority of the classes. But as a class that excels at 1v1 and suffers in large fights, if you take our solo ability away from us what do we have? Either stealth class can ninja like a boss, but if we are worse in every other department why would we be brought in? Sigh time to roll heals again

So wait did chris johnson get to 2000 yards because he was slower than people as the ball carrier? i mean speed bursts surely didnt help Deven Hester Or Messi or Ronaldo if you prefer soccer or reyes and jeter if you like baseball Speed is integral in every sport on the planet. The thing is, typically fast people are smaller, and thus easier to stop. Much like a sorc who takes 5k shots from what seems like everyone since i have no armor. If you slow them down, they just get dead. Huttball is like a real sport, insofar, as you have to know who to pass it to when. Like giving it to a sorc to run it away from the group and pass it off to someone who can actually hold it. (and why is no one crying that tanks can pop a defensive cooldown and walk through the fire. Its such a huge deal when a sorc does it but a jug or a pt and nbg)
  9. 1. Sorc bubble DOES NOT grant any immunities to any cc's including knockback. You are most likely running into a resolve mechanic that you dont understand. Also if jumping over the fire with sprint on is such a big deal, why are you not crying about juggs and powertechs popping defensive cooldowns and walking (not running) through the fire with no penalty? U want all defensive cooldowns removed from ball carriers? or just the ones u cant figure out how to counter? 1a. U can immobilize a sorc who is sprinting with full resolve - true story 2. mercs have awesome and sometimes gamechanging knockbacks that are crazy in huttball when used right, plus they do scary single target dps numbers when by passed on your way to the ball carrier. 3. if a 30 sec cd sprint makes you cry so much people quit pvp because u obviously cant hack it. its no worse than blink, shadowstep, flicker, sprint, demon port, etc
  10. Seriously its so hard to immobilize a sorc that we should have the ability removed? If u let me hang around your score line to pull someone to me, its your fault im not dead. If u dont notice me doing it is that not good play on my part? My amazing shield is from 2.5-3.5k damage **** so much a tracer missile brings it down. Can i get heavier armor, a heal off of my resource, and stealth so i can have other healers stuff that i dont have? Can we take damage reduction talents away from the ball carrier since it makes them hard to kill? How bout just make the ball carrier immune to heals that should help QQ moar pls

Even when their magical resolve bar is full.... i.e. root that sorc when he force speeds and the whole thing is ruined. bad positioning loses huttball games, if you are positioned badly its no ones fault but your own. if you get hit by the same gimmick score twice in the same game its your bad not the opponents. QQ some moar pls
