  1. A couple of things. First, the fact that you have expertise means you have pvp gear on. Pvp gear gimps you in pve as that expertise takes up other useful stats you would have in pve gear. Replace this first. A lot of people are in love with getting force accuracy to 110%. Forget about that for awhile. Some of your stat focus will depend on your talent build. Are you a Telekinetics focused dps, balance focused, or a hybrid? Personally I'm mostly telekinetics so I would say aim for 25-30% crit, 75% crit multiplier (from surge), 2500 willpower and 1000 power. You won't be close to these numbers right away, but first you might set your sights on 2000 willpower, 25% crit, 70% crit multiplier, and 850-950 power. Try to aquire black hole (bh) and dread guard (dg) gear in 3 ways. Run sm ev and kp and ec via the groupfinder (or your guild if you're in one). Second, run level 50 fp's...BOTH story mode and hard mode. They both drop bh gear. The above also gives you classic and basic comms. classic comms will give you the ability to BUY bh gear on the fleet vendor. Basic comms will give you the ability to buy BETTER then bh gear on a fleet vendor. You should also be running dailies like section x and black hole dailies for coms. The absolute fastest way to get this type of gear is to have a guild who can take you through a 16 man kp or ev hardmode. In 2 runs you should be fully geared or close to it (can use the comms to fill in the gaps). Hope this helps! Dirr
  2. According to Dulfy, you can re the new stims, medpacks, adrenals for a reusable version with the SAME stats!!! (FINALLY) If true, this is a good thing! Dirr
  3. Hmmm...when I was on PST and boosted my biochem to 450, there were no new reusable schems for stims, adrenals, medpacks so I don't think there will be new ones (and on live only the medpack was as good or better than its exotech counterpart). I will go over to pst to check again since im now seeing people claim there ARE new schems. Perhaps the schems come from a different source? I'll look into it and post back if i find out. Dirr
  4. New crafting stuff is likely for the new gear.
  5. Wow, some people just don't get it. Having reusable biochem things...stims, adrenals, medpacks is nice for leveling and up through current hm fp's and sm ev or kp...even ec and tfb sm if you're geared. But to do anything higher you really need or SHOULD use exotech stims/adrenals. The medpack is the only reusable superior to the exotech consumable. So most endgame content relegates you to being able to make your own stuff cheaper then buying it....WHOOPEEE!!! Meanwhile Cybertech's are crafting armorings and mods for free so when they crit they can get ANOTHER ONE. The only time we can do that is to get an extra 15k stim or adrenal. yber techs are getting an extra MILLION creds to a biochems 15k. And unlike cyber tech...where you can buy an armoring someone else crafted, pop it in and out of ur shell and then you can re it to learn the schem, biochem cant do that with implants. Very overpowered biochem is!!! Lastly, I noticed on PST there is no new reusable schem from the biochem vendor which leads me to believe there will NOT be resuable stims adrenals worthy of a level 55 hm fp or op. So half of what made biochem useful in leveling up to 50 is gone since the reusables won't be worth it anymore:( Dirr
  6. It all depends on your server is the answer. But in general, if you really want to make money, you have to track how much your missions are, the prices of items you can make on the gym, and the prices of the raw materials on the gtn. If you don't, you may find yourself spending more to sell for less, which is a money LOSING proposition. On my server, I've seen the prices of raw materials fluctuate so much that sometimes it is more profitable to only make things for myself and sell the raw materials. Other times, the raw materials are so over-priced no one buys them and you're better off crafting things to sell. You also have to keep track of the cost or discovery missions. Too many people buy these not realizing they are taking a loss on the value of the materials they have gotten. If you're just starting off, you don't have to get every recipe from the trainer. It costs a lot when you get from 300-400. If you want to get to biochem 400 cheaply, find the cheapest thing you can make with the fewest materials and only craft oranges (give you more biochem points to craft). Just make that one thing til you can get the next level of cheap recipe and only get that one. You will get to 400 with few recipes but once there, you can make more money selling the best cost to price item on the gtn or selling the most profitable raw materials. It also helps a lot for you to utilize the strengths of your companions. I only have Doc craft my biochem because he has a biochem crit bonus. Nadia has a diplomacy crit so she does diplomacy missions. Also, keep in mind, that some raw materials can be bought cheaper then you sending companions out to get them on missions. Find your niche. Own your niche. In general, I only sell a few items. I know the different people who make those items and how much they try to sell them for. I know the market for the materials that make those items too. Do what's profitable. Always be in the look out for new opportunities. While leveling another toon, I noticed there were a of items for that class/level that no one makes. I'll be experimenting to see if that is an oversight or because no one buys them. Lastly, keep in mind the law of supply and demand. Don't flood your market with a million items or you will see the prices drop. Good luck. Dirr/Colja on Harbinger
