I know what everyone is saying about transferring guilds and what not but I expect this is how load balancing will happen. They aren't going to balance too much before the 20th simply because there will be a brand new influx of people on that day. I expect them to open up servers during the 19th maintenance window. At that time people will either be willing to wait in a queue or will re-roll on another server even if it means leaving guilds behind. In other words...the placer population will eventually load balance itself. This is what WoW went through the first month of launch. I was there I remember the hour to 3 hour queues. once we were fed up enough and our idle threats to quit went ignored we moved to a less populated server. Hold your breath until face turns blue or find a lower population server sometime around New Years.
