  1. Sith warrior on Dromund Kaas - you can scare away some NPCs by threatening to eat them. After they leave, the Imperial you're aiding tells you "Great bluff!". I picked the option to deadpan "I wasn't bluffing". Loved it.
  2. I leveled as a healer. I think I was using Ashara for this. There were a few quests that were very difficult for me, but this one was really easy. I think I was a little under-level - I started rushing after 40.
  3. I actually just came back to SW from WoW. My main is a Sith Inq healer. Queued up for a HM flashpoint, got Directive 7. I haven't had that much fun healing instances since... mid Cata in WoW. It's just too easy in WoW now. No challenge. I had to watch my "mana" on my Inq, manage heals appropriately and watch everyone. We finished the FP with 3 players because a DPS dropped halfway through. No deaths. I'm probably going to let my WoW sub lapse for a bit. I've gotten bored of it. I should probably find a guild... Anyway, don't despair for all pugs. Some of us healers know what we're doing and like doing it.
  4. It's not sneaky. It's quite transparent. And I approve. I'll be playing again.
  5. None of my character names. Because they actually are more or less unique. I did lose my legacy name, but I made a better one for that, so I'm quite happy.
  6. At least we're polite. Would you rather we just killed you?
  7. Considering I rerolled on the highest pop PVP server (and am very much enjoying it), leaving 3 characters I very much enjoyed behind, and I don't think transfers to Fatman will be free (if allowed at all)... Yes. I will pay to unite my characters on one high pop server (doesn't have to be Fatman - I'd try Swiftsure as well, anything below that, no thanks).
  8. While I do agree that character customization is slim (especially for females - I don't think I've seen body types 3 or 4 ever - type 2 dominates), I have to disagree about character attachment. I'm very attached to my sorc (50), my trooper (20) and my agent (also 20). I'm about as attached to them as I am to most of my WOW 85s (all 9 of em...... Some of whom have been around for 5 years). Why? Personality. The dialog options allow me to give character to my characters. I've created back-stories for them. I don't RP, but I honestly can't get attached to a character at all if it doesn't have actual character - achievements are nice, but don't compare to personality. That's the reason I couldn't get into Rift - I felt nothing about my character, and nothing happened within 15 levels to change that. My sorc hates the Empire and wants to change it from within. My trooper is a straight-laced patriot. My agent was raised in a program that produces emotionless, unquestioning servants for the Empire, hence she's a bit of a sociopath (but learning there are options). As their stories progress, so do my characters in personality. I'm leveling a consular atm, and she's slowly going darkside. I'll be paying to move the sorc, trooper and agent I left behind when I rerolled (because I doubt there will be free transfers to Fatman). I can't leave them on a dead server.
  9. Make sure you let people know you're in PVP gear. That way, you either get the invite or you don't, and you're not wasting time. That being said, a little courtesy is a good thing, and I'd have said something before kicking. Politely.
  10. My biggest gripe was a lack of people on my server. They all quit/migrated. I didn't want to leave my legacy behind (I'm really OCD about having all my characters in one place), but I rerolled on Fatman earlier today. Had so much fun, I'm resubbing. I would really love to move the rest of my characters there, but Fatman does not lack for players, so I'll probably have to pay.... But I'll do it. It's worth it to me. So... I likely will not unsub. I've got some other issues with the game, but they're relatively minor, and I am patient.
  11. Definitely Kashyyk. On that note, can we get more planets here and there to level on? Linear quest grinds are not fun when you're an altoholic like myself.
  12. I unsubbed about a week ago because my server was nearly dead (10-ish people on fleet at prime time). That's no fun. Despite not wanting to leave my legacy behind, I decided today, to roll on Fatman just to see what it was like. I've gotta say, the Fatman has me resubbing. I love that server. Yes, the Fatman is saving SWTOR (at least for me). It puts one of the M's back in MMO.
  13. SWTOR can be fun, and I very much enjoy how the individual class stories pull me in and engage me. But the single most off-putting thing (for me) is the quest grind in-between story. To preface, I'm not much of a quester - it burns me out. I have 9 85's in WoW. Most of them were leveled mostly via PVP and instances. I don't like TOR's PVP - I don't really know why. I just don't find it fun. Maybe it's because I can't faceroll in heirloom gear I don't know. So that leaves leveling via questing, space missions and flashpoints if I'm playing TOR. BUT! the population of the server I play on is too low to support groups. I've tried. It doesn't work. Space missions are fine (could be a little better, but I'm more or less okay with them), but while leveling there are only so many missions that will give you decent amounts of exp. Okay, so... questing. I realise server transfers are in the works (yay!), but could you (Bioware) also introduce more activities that will give us players a bit of exp? Maybe not huge chunks (I'd like reason other than my story and quests to be out in the worlds you've created), but a bit here and there so there's something breaking the monotony of questing? People have already suggested swoop racing and pazaak. More mini-games would be very much appreciated. World events (I missed the Rakghoul Plague ) are also awesome. I tend to enjoy those very much in any game I'm playing. Thanks.
  14. More character customization would be great, imo. I play WoW as well as this game. Do you have any idea how long I spend putting together transmog outfits and then changing my appearance at the barbershop to suit? WAY too long.
  15. I would LOVE a Swoop Race mini-game. I used to love playing the old N64 pod racing game. Wasn't all that good at it, but it was fun...
