  1. It seems they adressed most in-game bugs such as gamebreaking ones in Flashpoints and operations. Also companions have returned to their nominal gathering/mission efficiency by bringing more puprples again. I don't know if all the other bugs were solved as I didn't have time to test them throughly While these are good news, the game still suffers a wide variety of graphical glitches: white rectangle on selecting character screen after logging out its still pressent; graphical effects on some habilities /like trauma probe or the lightsaber swing) still dont appear correctly; while sound issues on warzones have been adressed, we still don't hear some voice overs correctly (from vendros and baron Deathmark makes the sponsors anouncements at the same time the match finishes to name a few). The patch was a step in the right direction BUT a small one compared to the big ones it took backwards the past 2 weeks. EA/Bioware still has a lot of work ahead of them, but I hope they will adress it. Im gonna "copy/paste" the part on the graphical glitches and post it on the CS forum to see if they akcnowledge theses issues.
  2. Actually, theres a pop culture reference in Return of the Jedi. When Chewie and the ewoks swing on a rope to board and hijack an AT-ST, you can hear Chewbacca doing the Tarzan scream. Even with that example, I also don't think pop culture references are necessary on this universe.
  3. Dude, most of us think like you (I include myself). It's not the game what we don't like, IT'S THE SILENCE FROM THE DEVS/CS/CMS ABOUT THE LAST DISASTROUS PATCH. You see, I really like this game, I really do, otherwise I wouldn't be here agreeing with you. I really want this game to thrive up and last for good and in good health. But right now, what BW has brought to itself it's shamefull, obnoxius and unforgivable. For godsake, how can they say they care for this game when they release a patch that makes the game work worse than even during 2011 fall beta testing? Seriously BW you need to explain... NO SERIUOUSLY, EXPLAIN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx-97uRkzRg (Dont own the video above, just ussed for humorous relief)
  4. Number 11: Frag**** GUILDSHIPS! They would add a lot of flavour to guilds, not having to mass up on the station to start warzones, trade, or just simply roleplay a little. Also there could be game modes oriented to this kind of scenario (like Guild vs Guild battles in which GuildCapital ships being atacked and having to defend or attack the other ship), not to mention space combate needs some love. I mean, rail shooter was fine in the first months of the game but who the hell plays those missions now (even with new tooms)? I know theres a new space mission comming... but its only the same dog with a different collar. I bet you can do it better. But for Godsake DONT GIVE US ANYMORE NEW CONTENT PATCHES THAT BREAK THE GAME AT MULTIPLE LVLS!!!!!! Thank you ^_^
  5. I don't know if this has been discussed in other threads, so in advance I apologize if I'm "double posting" this suggestion here. I'm a subscribbing player form Europe and I would like to ask for EA/Bioware to have differente maintenance times for both Europe and Asia. I know it's costly and time consuming for ANY company to implement this kind of maintenance mechanics, but you have to keep in mind that this game is not solely played on the USA. In Europe, you're virtually taking a morning of gameplay to users that pay for their subscription, that's half a day. You may think that they still have the afternoon to play, but what about people who has a job during all the afternoon and night? Same goes for Asia. Imagine someone wants to play this game, and I think on Asia the maintenance time coincides with the afternoon. But then, the asian players have their jobs during the morning and when they come back home they can't play the game because of maintenance. Now look at the USA maintenance window. Depending on the state, they'll finish their gameplay session a bit sooner or won't be able to play too early in the morning. But most of the maintenance time happens when everyone's sleeping, so not a great deal of wasted gameplay hours (2 at most I would dare to say), while in Asia and Europe we are talking about half a day lost. When you count the maintenance times for both of this zones a month, players on these regions are taken out 2 COMPLETE DAYS of subscription. Its not a big deal of time I know but anyway you're getting a full payment of 30 day and only giving 28 in reality. Even with F2P option comming soon before the end of the year, it would be wise on your part to conssider the possibility of having different maintenance times for the 3 continents where the game is widely played. Thank you for your atenttion and forgive me if I have made big grammar-spelling mistake sin the redaction of this thread. Good day.
  6. Hmm It could be, as I still haven't done much crew missions yet, I think Im between 30-50 for most of them. If passed 60 Im still there I'll post it.
  7. I've got Cybertech, Investigation and Underworld Traiding as my Crew Skills. I'm lvl 22 but I still can't get any missions asside the ones marked as lvl 10-16. Any ideas or thoughts about this? Thank you.
  8. Just for u to know, trooper attakcs ALLREADY have a minimum range for some of them, mostly AoE one's which are the deadliest. Besides, we are "freezed" on a same position while we use a "focus" shot (moving or rotating cancels them, and our cooldowns are not short neither). So when you see a trooper dont rush to him straight forward, do some zig zag while aproaching and ussing some mid to short range habilities you have. And once you tie a trooper up in melee, don't hit him from the same spot more than a few seconds. If you force the trooper to move or turn around/rotate he/she can't use much of their focuss shots, let alone AoE (which have focuss and minimum range). Hope this few hints help you up the next time you find a trooper or some other ranged class... and if not, we can still meet in the game. I will be more than pleassed to "explain" you how it is done
  9. Thank you very much on your thoughts and reassonings. They really help (and I'm not being sarcastic). See you in the game!
  10. So, many of my guild mates have been complainning about the OPness of the sith inquisitor, particullary their lightning attack. At the same time I have readen on this forums that the trooper (a character they and myself use) it's also overpowered. I can't say the same things about the authors of the threads regarding Trooper OP. But my guild friends based their oppinions after having played quite afew warzones were inquissitors where the most ussed class ammong Empire players. I have encountered a few inquissitors myself on other warzones, and while they are trully powerfull, I would hardly call them Overpowered, as they can't take a lot of sustainned damage without having to go for cover or calling back up. There were cases my mates faced inquissitors that were 10+ lvls above them, but they said other inquissitors that were simillar to them in lvl owned them for good with the lightnings. To clarify my doubts I'd like to ask inquissitors and non-inquissitors players their thoughts about this class in particullar, and while you're at it if you wish, on other classes too.
