  1. Sorry Allison but did you actually read what you wrote? You give something a sticky because its important information that you want people to read. You unsticky something because you have too many stickies? Even if its still important information. Stickies should not be about current events for the most part since they would be on the front page anyways They should be for important information about the game that isnt always commented on but is still important for players to find easily. Do we really need Sticky: Community Q&A Archive anymore since there are not going to be anymore Q&A's. They were all answered basically with Soon or other generic answers that tell us nothing or where answers that only one person cared about. Only 1 of the stickies that are up there should really be stickied, and the rest are just wasting space for important information. Also do we really need the stickies on each page? Are you really that worried that someone who is on page 4 or 10 might be looking for a sticky information and not noticed it on the first page. Remove that and then you dont have to worry about how many stickies you have and can have 1 or 30 or 5 and it doesnt matter.
  2. Your trying too hard to say its not there but even in what I quoted you just admitted that it is there. Two people that do exactly the same thing with the only difference being buying the XP boost from the cash shops and therefor leveling quicker is a definite example of P2W. It doesnt matter if the likelyhood of it happening is a billion to one its still P2W which you are admitting too but using that it would be rare as a reason to ignore it.
  3. If someone is the same level then even in a P2W game there would be no difference between them. Also listen to his example that you make up excuses for as it not to mean P2W. Both him and his friend log onto the game at the same time all the time and do everything together (I would think that would include doing each players story line also) The one who purchased the XP boost would then have an advantage over the other because he would be a higher level than the other. Higher level means better spells and better gear that you can wear which in return make you stronger than the other player. All that extra stuff from buying something when you do everything else in the game together is a form of P2W.
  4. Is it going to become P2W? Absolutly not. Then there is sub here and P2W here (one hand to the left and one hard to the right) and we want to be somewhere here (points to indicate somewhere in the middle). Conclusion: It wont be total P2W since you can play the game to get the best items but you will certainly be able to pay to get items that will give you a chance to win.
  5. Thats my point. Put in an event thats just above the F2P level in hopes that some of them will sub so that they can do it. Thats dangling the carrot just out of reach of the F2P player in the hopes that they fall into the trap. Thats also why they had you go back to your capitol planet so that they would also see you there and hear everyone talking about it.
  6. They are not working on open world PVP, they already mentioned on how they were going to solve the problem with that.
  7. Its funny how if you watch the video how many things are so wrong with it in the game. Lets just say if you watch it and you notice that one side (lets call them the empire) have all red sabers and the other side (lets call them the republic) have no red sabers but blue and that is trying to point out the different sides. Well in SWTOR its nothing like that because its not fair to have red sabers for only the empire side so why didnt they show the true game and have all different color sabers on both sides?
  8. From what I have heard people say there is no rewards for say a level 50 player but all the rewards are for players that are nar shaddaa level (about 20). Whats the chances that this events sole reasoning was to try and get some of the F2P players to sub before it goes F2P so Bioware can say they had an increase in subs before it went F2P. players (F2Pto15 players dont have a speeder yet, can only use 90% speeders when they can get them. This would be great for them, save them some money purchacing a speeder be it only 8k but still.
  9. So was it stated that all this was coming out next month and you didnt mean it that way or was it stated the way you just explained it. Anyone know where a transcript or video for it is?
  10. I dont. I think they are just making the appearance as to get everyones hope up and get them to sub another month.
  11. SWG didnt fail. Its funny how people that say SWTOR isnt failing will say a game with 300k-500k subs isnt a failed game but then go and say SWG with 300k was a failed game. It stayed at about 300k for 2 years with it being totally neglected by SOE devs to fix bugs. The only reason it lost so many players after that was because of them trying to WoWinize it with the CU and NGE. If SWG pre-CU was still around it would have the same amount of players if not more than SWTOR does now.
  12. Well you could call them professions but they were not main professions, would that be worded better?
  13. The first 6 on the lists were the basic professions. The first skill box you could pick and if i remember that long ago you could have 2 of the 6 at any one given time. Each one of the first six would allow you to choose from the other classes of that list in their section Artisian would allow you shipwright, architect, armorsmith plus some more Marksman would give you the range classes basically and so on. The bounty hunters were true bounty hunters as in you could hunt players in the game.
  14. No the 3 pilots were not real professions. They were more like titles(maybe not the best word) that anyone could learn basically in the same area as politician which you did not list.
