  1. Do the Destiny devs really care though? I was under the impression the 2nd Game had a disastrous launch and an expansion that didn't improve much.
  2. I don't think there is much hope for SWTOR. When Keith said they are using trickle down content instead of expansions from now on, that set off a red flag for me to unsubscribe. I subscribed when i found out Risha was coming back and wanted to see if there was a reason to stay. After the newest roadmap, I got my answer. I've played on and off since launch, but the expansions always brought me back and I always felt like I got my money's worth. There is no franchise like Star Wars and I always wanted a game to immerse myself in like I did with SWG and SWTOR. But just like Galaxies, I know when it's time to take a step back and play something else. It's too sad to watch this once great game on life support.
  3. My subscription runs out very soon and I will not enable Bioware and EA to use my money to fund their lootbox lottery shooter any longer. Am I going to delete all my characters and give away all my stuff? No. I still have a microscopic piece of hope that this game will turn around. I have a feeling Anthem is going to be Bioware's nail in the coffin. If they shut down, the real talent from the BW we know and love can form their own studio and start from the beginning.
  4. I wish they would make a big (i would happily pay) expansion instead of trickle down content. It's the only way I see this game making the comeback it desperately needs.
  5. I really think 6.0 should have been another traditional expansion. The trickle down content for a game excelling in storytelling and lore above all else is not a good sign imo.
  6. The roadmap was the nail in the coffin for me. My sub runs out in a week and I have absolutely no motivation to resubscribe. I can always pretend my Scoundrel and Risha (now reunited) continued their space pirate adventures for many decades to come. I have the same feelings as I did right before TOR was announced and SWG was on its last legs, except I don't think we are going to get a replacement MMO this time.
  7. https://www.cbr.com/star-wars-legends-characters-canon/ Unfortunately, it doesn't give a hint as to who will join the Disney continuation. Kyle Katarn is my favorite Star Wars character ever. I like his dry sense of humor and huge arsenal of weapons. Plus he has the coolest starship ever. If he became canon, there would be so much backstory that would need to be changed. As much as it pains me to say it, I'm not optimistic. With Taris being in one of the first Disney Canon novels, it does lead us further to seeing KOTOR and Revan becoming canon as well. Who do you want to see?
  8. Hey OP what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy **** on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?
  9. In my opinion, living in the grey makes a person lukewarm, mliquetoast and boring. There are plenty of situations where "playing devil's advocate" is not necessary and there is a clear distinction between right and wrong.
  10. If Microsoft took over EA, what if they made a Star Wars RTS using Age of Empires 4's engine? I'm down for that.
  11. Let's not be so hasty. They might add Anthem themed outfits on the Cartel Market.
  12. While we wait for the roadmap in two weeks, why not have some fun? Make a rule and give an honest perspective on the state of the game from your opinion. There's no right or wrong answers. I'll start. 1. Every time someone mentions another MMO in a thread you are viewing, take a shot. I will be the first to admit I am not optimistic about SWOTR's future, but I'm here right now and really don't want to imagine an existence without a Star Wars MMO to escape and immerse myself in. Star Wars is my favorite franchise and piece of fiction ever made. It would be tragic to lose another Star Wars MMO with a lot of potential left in it. Elder Scrolls Online is okay, but it isn't Star Wars or set in a galaxy far far away. *takes shot*.
  13. Not relying on just amazing cinematic trailers to draw players in. A rewarding endgame with repeatable content. Making non-Force users feel important.
