  1. Is Bioware working on fixing the problem of "you can't re-attach an authenticator once removed"? I had my authenticator on my iphone, but the app got deleted and had to call customer service to take the authenticator off from my account. However, they told me they currently can't enable accounts to attach another authenticator after that happens. Will this ever change?
  2. Right? Yup, and SWTOR is better than Vanilla WoW too. I like logic.
  3. It can actually be done pretty easily with some classes, not so much with others. For example, the Marauder is easy to do it with if you know how, but the Smuggler isn't.
  4. For the most part it's relative and subjective, however the one thing you cannot deny is that texture quality is horrible when compared to other games released in 2008+.
  5. Tortoises your fanaticism shows. You're a little delusional. WoW is the biggest MMO currently and it's the game that, on your words, "owns the market" not SWTOR. As you said, the truth hurts. When Mists of Pandaria releases, I strongly believe WoW will actually gain subscriptions from their current loss, as it always happens with every expansion prior. SWTOR is a good game, but it is too similar to WoW. For the guy on this thread that said "people are tired of WoW's raid or die gameplay so they came to SWTOR" you are either below level 50 or blind. SWTOR will compete tooth and nail against WoW because they are very similar games, with very similar mechanics and a casual focus. On the other hand, GW2 is a different type of game. It's mean to be a game for the semi-hardcore player who is already tired of playing the same MMO formula for over 10 years. This demographic is less than the casual one, however. GW2 will take away that type of players off SWTOR, and even if people don't believe it, it is actually a pretty substancial chunk of players. We'll see what happens further down the road.
  6. Right now I have a crew skill mission "Pending" and I really don't want to accept it. If I do, it'll add 1.999933448484 light side points to me, and I know I'll have my alignment bugged. What should I do? Is there a way to decline crew skill missions?
  7. Could you elaborate a little bit more on what DCA/S/B setup is? And why do we need so much for OS and applications?
  8. Hey, I have a question. I noticed that going from a Raid 0 HDD to an SSD for the SWTOR installation made my loading screen time be cut in half. If I have 24 GB of RAM, and usually only need 4 GB to play the game, is there a way to make use of those other 20 GB of RAM as a RamDrive and move most of SWTOR's files to it without breaking the game and achieving incredibly fast loading times? I'd be very interested in this, specially with the long loading screen times TOR has.
  9. Exactly, it would be greatly helpful. Right now, I've found that if I want to get a group, I have to whisper people individually to see if they want to come, specially healers. This would save a lot of work.
  10. Give me one good reason why a same server LFD tool would be harmful to the game. Do you really like to spam "LFG DPS Athiss" or "LF1M Healer Colicoid" over and over again, without a chance of going out of your fleet and quest? I get why a cross-server LFD could ruin a server's community, but come on, a same server one would bring nothing negative.
  11. A few weeks ago, some people started posting about ability delay and combat unresponsiveness. Immediately, they were labeled as trolls by many of the fanboys in here. You know, the people that only want others to profess rainbows and sunshine for this game. Their message was simply "it's fine, I don't have problems, if you don't like it don't play". Now, the developers recognize there are problems with combat responsiveness. They recognize that they need to fix it, and even give thanks to the people who posted the problems and made so many videos about them. See? See? All you people out there who whenever you see someone post a flaw about the game you stick them against a wall and label them trolls: you are wrong. We NEED to point out the flaws in this game, it's called feedback. The real trolls here are you.
  12. Moving and resizeing the standard frames is nice and all. But, you see, I like my frames to have this very specific border, on a form of a grid, that light up this very specific way, and show debuffs as little color squares precisely on this place. Well, that's A LOT that I'm asking, isn't it? The developers surely can't please a million player's specific needs! Where would they find the time to do so?!? BUT HEY! DON'T WORRY! I'LL DO IT FOR YOU, DEVS! Just let me make my own addons! You won't have to work on making my perfect UI, I'll do it myself. We'll make SWTOR's UI perfect for each individual, for every necessity and preference. Just give us the freedom to do it!
  13. So tank companions were nerfed during the beta because healer classes were able to solo content they weren't supposed to. But in the process, you made tank classes worthless for leveling purposes. A DPS/Tank class would purposely gimp himself during leveling if he were to stick with a tank companion, compared to a healer or DPS companion. You should consider buffing tank companions to make them viable again, but only for non-healer classes so that they do not become overpowered.
  14. And so is my Smuggler. We need grey rewards, now! Or I'll send Chewie to have a word with you all.
  15. I'm thinking of going for a Smuggler as my first Republic side character, however I wanted to know how good the story was. I know it's subjective, so I'll just say that I found the Jedi Knight story incredibly dull compared to the Sith Inquisitor and Imperial Agent stories. I like stories that take many unexpected twists, and the Jedi Knight story felt kind of bland and predictable. Do you think the Smuggler story is any good?
