  1. PvP in this game is obviously an afterthought.
  2. Only 18 kills and look at the healing from the other team. Anybody can rack up that kind of damage by spamming dps over and over on targets that are being healed. Now I'm not debating whether the class needs a nerf or not. But coming here and posting a single screenshot of one sub 50 warzone is not doing anything for your cause.

  4. Pretty much everyone in my guild that got to rank 60 valor legitimately are saying they're going to quit if valor from this isn't rolled back.
  5. Hey, you know if you want to go out there to PvP just to PvP, nothing is stopping you. But that fact is, the majority of people won't go out there just for the sake of PvPing unless they feel they're getting something for their time. It's sad, I know. But it's the way it is. If you have a suggestion to change the way most of these people think, well then that would work too I suppose. You say you would rather play warzones, but how is that different from killing a boss? You're doing something where the primary goal is to complete a PvE objective while the PvP is secondary. But that fact is, right now people aren't going to spend time out there when they can play warzones that have more action, offer better rewards, and are far more accessible. The reason I suggest killing a "raid boss" is because it takes effort from the entire faction to work together to defeat the boss while fighting off the other faction trying to defend him. Ilum is supposed to be an objective based zone. If you want straight up PvP, that's what Outlaw's Den is for. Well I'm sure some people would cry if the other faction did get stuff they didn't, but hey it's better than the ghost town it is now. I can see more people actually enjoying having something to do out there even if it means the other faction gets something. There's no way to balance faction vs. faction without limiting the number of people on each side, which we know it's too late for that. Even then, it's not always going to be balanced. The only other way would be to limit the amount of people for each faction for the zone which kind of defeats the purpose of an open PvP zone and excludes people from participating. I play Empire and I'm fine with Republic getting stuff we wouldn't if it means it actually gives them a reason to go out and not have to worry about being zerged down. As for the boss being farmed, they could easily put a lock out timer on it.
  6. I think we can all agree that as it stands right now, going out to Ilum to do something other than your dailies/weeklies is pretty pointless. We need more incentive for people to go out there. While the upcoming changes might make it a bit better, I don't it changing much. Some ideas I have: Make taking objectives and controlling the zone meaningful. One way you can do this is once a side takes control of the entire zone, have a boss spawn in the opposing factions base that you have to kill. Killing the boss should offer exclusive rewards, gear, etc. that you can't get from anywhere else and that is better than what you can currently get from warzones. Now I know what a lot of people are thinking right now; Empire will dominate due to higher population with this type of system. An idea I had about that: Exclusive siege weapons and vehicles for the underdog faction. If a certain faction is outnumbered by a fair amount, give them access to siege vehicles, weapons, ability to call in air strikes, etc. There's ways to balance within the game without needing sheer numbers. This will give the underdog faction more incentive to go out against all odds. These are just a couple of ideas I had. I would like to hear more ideas people have for Ilum that would actually make people want to go out there.
  7. Is there a cap for crit multiplier? I'm wondering because with talents you can spec for 100%+ crit multiplier. But does it cap out at some point?
