  1. You are assuming here that grinding cannot be fun. You take the grind out of an online game and it turns into..well SWTOR lol. You get to 50 and be very very bored. There is no fluff, nothing extra to do, just levels alts...silly bioware.
  2. That is exactly what i dont understand......exactly HOW will it kill the community? Not being able to add to your ignore list? Why does it matter...I simply don't understand how spamming General chat is a better community then just clicking a button and going to smash things into oblivion for fun....
  3. I am certainly one of those people. For me its about immersive environment. I barely ever have a chat window open, it just feels like a world around me is alive when you see who you know are real people strolling around. But overall I would much rather smash with a buddy or 2 and our companions that hang out and chat in guild chat.
  4. So I was not very clear with a question in my previous post... Where do you go to PVP in Ilum? Is it an instanced zone inside there? Do I just run over to the opposite side's camp? How does one initiate PVP over in Ilum? I wish Bioware was a bit more clear with a quest line maybe that guides you there. Not like there is anything else to do at 50 other then PVP.....so why not make it clear and easy to figure out at least to start with.
  5. lol, i saw that but that is not what I am asking....everyone is talking about Ilum and PVP'ing there...so I am asking how do I get in there? Why would I want to take 1:3 horrid odds, if I can just pvp in a different place other then a warzone...
  6. So...I am evry confused, I have no idea how to get those other 200 Commendations needed for the PVP bag. I did quests in Ilum and ran around, but I cant find where you pvp for tokens... I went to the Republic Base, ran around killed some stuff, no result. Can anyone help out?
  7. I would love for this to be the case.....yet I spam general every night and I have my LFG sign up with comments and rarely ever I get a reply. once I do get some replies then a hunt for a healer begins. Its just really frustrating. I love the game, it just lacks group tools. I also joined 3 separate guilds.....neither ever had more than 3 members on...ever. Maybe its just the server....which really means they need to merge them. Id love to see 130 people on the fleet....last big gt at around 10pm....there were 35 of us. So you tell me, if you would be frustrated with 35 people on...
  8. Same exact issue here. Never see over 100 people on the Fleet....so I'm not really sure where are all of those 1.7mil people are....definitely not on Constant. At this point I'm just leveling Aloping it gets better and LFG gets implemented. And lol at build a rep on a server....its a game...I don't care about building rep...that's what RL is for. I just want to click a button, spend a fun hour smashing.g and log off. Don't have time for chatting with random people I don't know online...
  9. No lag here, plays very smooth. Its really crazy how different people have such different experiences with the same game. I guess that's what happens when you don't have a uniformed hardware.
  10. best ship????? LOL Imperial Agents got the sleekest most ****** ship out there...their story is pretty darn good too. I get to be James Bond in space...I mean how much better can it get?
  11. This game was built with assumption that people would go through all the storylines as focus, not a traditional mmo approach. That's why everything.g is voiced over. flashpoints and raids are side content. End game is Alts to me, can't wait for Legacy to finally come.
  12. Because there will be like 5 people doing it after the initial hype does out. Rift tried that.....now people just run around to get where they need to go....too much of an annoyance really...
  13. Its not t that hard man, you are trying.g to overpressure based on other mmo experiences you had. Imagine this was a single player game....how would you gauge it? You smash things and have fun...you see mon going to another group member...you taunt and continue to smash. This is not an excel sheet, its just a game...you don't need to approach it with mathematical precision...its just not that kind of game, thankfully.
  14. Republic at times is as evil as empire.....dark Jedi were not uncommon. You are approaching it from perspective that empire is evil, republic is good...which is simply not the case. Both sides have good and evil people...its just a choice you make as to with whine you would prefer to ally.... And the answer is why not....you always try to do the right thing in life, so why not mess around and have some fun in a video game....don't see how that's any different then Assassin Creed or any shooter...really...
