I guy in the other post had a great idea. Change the dark ward animation into a sound effect. I would love hearing my assassin for example Laugh evilly when casts dark ward. And growling in anger when it runs out. Actually any sound would do.

Its not a troll topic... I play since beta and i m very serious about my games. I Didn't see this coming. i though that nothing would stop me from playing my assassin tank... I underestimated bioware's ability to mess things up. You need to be very careful when adding an animation that is always active. If you play the assassin tank as it should be played... that stupid animation is always on.

The animation they added looks like a paladin buff from world of Warcraft MMO If i wanted flashy Buffs with glows and runes revolving around me as if am a casino roulette i would not play a starwars.. i would play wow. Reverse the change i cant hardly look at my character anymore. All i see is some purple Glow and rotating Crap flying around. I got great joy from watching my character Block and absorb with my shield. When i used dark ward my shield went up to like 55% and watching it proc all the time was amazing. All that is now Ruined... I cant look at my character any more.... Tell me Bioware... Please tell me. How do you justify the Buff graphic ? The casting of the dark ward has an Amazing animation with a nice visual effect. Like creating a shield out of darkness... Where exactly does the Rotating Rune Roulette Paladin Buff from world of Warcraft fit in the High tech Starwars Lore ?

Check the in game latency meeter. If its 3-4 bars then the problem is from your provider. If you see like 4-5 bars and you lag its cause of the massive amount of players in the area. There was no lag till the F2P thing, The servers cant handle the numbers.

You Join a raid as DPS, people expect you to DPS. Secondly, marauders have way more utility in raids than a DPS assassin. Great Group DPS buffs greater survivability. For real now... Mr Trolly You think a DPS spec assassin will taunt and off tank ? what are you smoking ? Lastly Deception is not a hybrid DPS spec. Its a pure DPS spec, and if you parse you will see that it does roughly equal damage to madness. +-2% ( opposed to Assassin DPS vs Bounty hunter or marauder DPS difference of 30-50% ) I don't believe for a second, that your main is an assassin, most likely you are a kid, who thinks buffing this class will harm him in some way.

You raid with Bad DPS guildies if you are cleaning the trash. The target dummy is your friend. Full columi / rakata marauders dish out 1300-1500 dps You are in the 1000-1100 range.

Have you ever played an agent or a sorc ? Agents shield for some reason blocks almost nothing. and works randomly. Sorc shield under heavy fire by 2-3 dps trying to kill you ? Goes away in 1 hit. One hit of the 20 you will get. Merc shield doesn't go away under heavy fire. We know you don't want your class nerfed. That's no reason to say silly things my friend.

1. Those assassins that do, use dps gear and even tho they can guard. they die almost as easy as a dps They also they cant dish out the damage of a dps. In the crushing majority of mmos DPS vs tank means a dead dps. How can a tank be a threat so you don't simply ignore it and move on if it cant kill you ? But not in this game. 2. Classes that have taunt and use it, My personal record of protection due to taunts with no guard is something like 90k 3. You are not wrong there. But don't forget that a good tank protector will also taunt you when you attack the healer meaning another -30% damage. A tank that survives for the duration of a WZ opposed to a dps that dies in 10 seconds and waits re spawn every 20sec The DPS might appear to do less damage. Its an illusion. Especially if the tank is constantly attacked and uses aoe attacks in the middle of 2-3 people for the duration of the fight.

Eve online is nearly 10 years old. Its shiny and graphically updated as a game of 2011. The world created by the player community cant be compared to nothing else in the world. Its the most complex MMO out there, and the only MMO that is Brains > over hours spent playing. Its subs have risen steadily over the last 10 years. and sincerely i think it will be here long after WoW and all the other MMOs have turned to dust. The only bad thing is that you need brains to play it. So it limits the available player base. Its to hard, in a Darwinian sense to a new or stupid player. Its the only reason it doesn't have as many subs.
