In my opinion the event was too brief, but the SPAM to sell DNA was too much so I'm glad it's over... Next time, maybe do a longer event but in a way it has less impact on the general chat... Maybe BOP intermediary items and BOE final items, I don't know... The random companion customization was a downer too... That was the only thing I was looking for and I only got stuff to companions I don't even have yet...

There's absolutely NO WAY that you can have that FPS during a 40+ players fight... I would like to see a screenshot of that coz if so, as you said, something must be really wrong with my computer...

I hardly believe the high res they are gonna give us tomorrow will be the thing we are waiting for... Ilum, with 40+ players on screen is really bad, even with everything on low (10fps in fight)... And before the self-proclaimed geeks blame my computer, 6 cores, GTX580 card on SLI, etc... If they give us high-res, unless a miracle happened and they fixed the engine somehow, it will be to our char only and probably off for everyone else you see on your screen... Don't get me wrong, I take that over the crap that is today... But all the crap ppl kept saying about SWTOR these past months and that I chose not to listen are getting really loud and difficult to ignore... I won't do like the kids that come out and say "Tera is coming and gonna kill this game" coz it's ridiculous and Tera will probably be a big failure at lauch... But I gotta say that this community is fading and with it, the game... Many people I know are still playing it strictly coz they have "hope"... But you can't keep ppl forever coz hope alone...

I'm down for any of those... But since I can only vote one, I voted full 3D space battles. But I also agree with Merex, a dungeon queue system would be far more interesting at this point... I haven't yet PVE'd that much coz I despise spamming LFG in chat...

It's just 1 more thing on the pile of things that are not being addressed...

So, the last time I came to this thread was around 1 month ago or more... I just read a few posts and by the looks of it, we are still on the same position we had 1 month or more ago... So this graphics issue are even being addressed or Bioware are just quietly waiting till everyone forgets about it? The second alternative is working BTW coz the new players don't even know about it... I just came from a discussion with some players in general that say they have high textures coz they "settings say so..." Obviously they don't have the "eye" for it... They are just blindly trusting what their games are telling them... If this is the strategy here, it's working... And probably will get my sub cancelled soon... I'm doing my part waiting patiently but I'm not an idiot...

Oh well... It's disappointing but there's more than textures for me... So I'll just patiently wait... Like many of us will probably do...

Yep, that's what I meant... So the INI changes actually do nothing, right? I really can't see any difference.

Even with those settings the game quality ingame doesn't seem to change anymore... I don't get any ground reflection either... Anyone has been able to "force" the high quality again? I don't believe the people that claim to do are actually doing it...

As I usually mention... Skyrim or Arkham City on max makes my GPU not even notice something is running... SWTOR on max (with forced low-res) makes my GPU reach 176º or more. Now, how is it possible? There's clearly some engine issue here... And I'm not even talking about textures now...

So, I bought a completely new top-of-the-line computer just to play this game and now it looks like a 5 years old game and still eat my graphics card and CPU away? I don't get how this went unnoticed thru all the time it was being developed and tested...
