  1. Hey there! We have no set schedule yet, though we are looking at a week day and a weekend day to be fair to everyone . Times are likely around 10PM EST so we can account for the west coast as well.
  2. Hey there! We are primarily Imp side, and are forming our core ops group. A tank would be very welcome to the group. Hit us up in game, in Discord, or feel free to drop an app!
  3. Hey all! I've been with TCO for some time now. Not much more can be said then that they are a great group of guys. They know what they are doing, and they engage all of the members. 10/10
  4. If you are not part of The Crimson Order, then you may not know that every Sunday Night we do World PvP against a republic guild known as BMF. This Sunday was no different in the event, but a little different in the actual fights. It was mostly even with the flow of battle waxing and waning based on the location. Over all a very fun and very progressive night for us as a guild. I am very proud of everyone involved, and especially proud of our non PvPers who showed up, and picked up the assist system with our target caller Alfreydo quickly and efficiently. If you have not joined us on Sunday Nights yet, I strongly suggest you do. It is a lot of fun! Sunday nights @930 PM EST on PoT5, location changes every week. So hit up one of the members or ayself for the location of the week. Congrats to all those involved tonight, it was great. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/B4kst4br/Screenshot_2016-02-28_22_35_42_871768_zpsi8a1bgxe.jpg
  5. Still looking for skilled individuals! We are tearing it up!
  6. While you may not like my points, and while "you" and "your" were more ambiguous and to the player base as a whole, my points stand. Apologies if you don't agree or took offense. My point is not to raise mercs and be done with it. I mentioned many times that sorc was over performing. Both ACs can be adjusted at the same time, but if only one was to be adjusted, Mercs -need- to be made viable. It's not an issue of over all healing balance, but excluding an AC from the mix. There are a few classes over performing, and with the current meta I would prefer to see the underperforming classes be brought up.
  7. An issue with the engine they are using is that it is not only very unoptomized, but it's INCREDIBLY CPU dependent. It barely uses your GPU. I suspect they did this so that older systems could play at launch, but it's time to redesign it on a new engine.
  8. Actually, I was correct. Plenty of times I have won over a team with more than two healers. I would say my team has won more than lost against teams with more than two healers, but that comes down to player skill and team work. Bads are bads and will always play bad until they try to get better. Yes, Sorcs are over performing in mobility and escapes, OPs are in a good place and Mercs are underperforming. To top this off, bad players want this game to be like WoW where your rotation is three total buttons and you can mindlessly flail around and still win. This game requires more team work and more skill to be at a higher level due too the trinity functioning in PvP vs other MMOs. We as a player base need to loose the derped out tunnel mentality and actully use our brains. Healing in and of itself is fine. If you have issues locking down healers on your DPS then it's your issue over all, not the healer. But on topic, Mercs can't compete in ranked. I say this not because extremely skilled players can't make it work, but because they simply lack the output and tool set to do so reliably by the above average skilled players.
  9. I would have to disagree, but I think that is more a matter of opinion and playstyle. Though the general consensus is that Merc is underwhelming and under performing.
  10. Actually no, since Launch the Merc healer has never been the top healing class. oprative had its run from launch until around 2.0 when sorc was brought up to the same level. in 3.0 Sorc was pushed above oprative and Merc was left in the dust. Healing itself is not OP, the problem is the matchmaking system. two healers on a team is managable by a group that has more than one collective brain cell. Sorc needs to loose phase walk (bubble only delays the enevitable, and is fine where it is), OP needs it's AoE heal tuned to be like Revivification (ground cast, you gain the heal by running through it) and Merc needs a stronger Kolto Shell, better fart cloud (forget the ability name) and a "F--- you Im ending combat now" ability. Top this off with some proper matchmaking (no more than 2 healers in a WZ) and you finally have a recipe for a little more healing balance than the team of 4 healers in an arena, or the healing wars we sometimes see with a total of 8 healers in a 8v8.

  12. Poor advice. I main a sorc healer, feel free to stun and burst all you want, if you are not interrupting the correct skills at the correct time, Im going to heal to full, whirlwind you and then dance as you spin. It should go without saying that you use your interrupt first, then your stuns in order of least resolve generating to most. Right before they whitebar, interrupt again. While white barred, slow them, and lay down as much burst as you can. Once the white bar clears, continue with your interrupt rotation. I consider myslef an above average Sorc healer, been maining it since launch. Most DPS are crap and have an FPS mentality that all they should have to do is faceroll the keyboard and win. Most of the time, it's a tank that locks me down, since they have a different mentality. Also, if you are a burst class, and you are playing against a less skilled Sorc Healer, you can force the god bubble with well timed heavy burst. Interrupt Innervate > Lay down burst. If you can drop them to around 30% in two globals after interrupting Innervate, most Sorcs will bubble, not knowing that you are now spent. Give time for your burst window to come back, and makes them not able to use the bubble again. Do not burst right after bubble, stun them untill the bubble DR shielding is gone, and interrupt innervate again, then lay the burst.
  13. I appreciate the advice. Infact, I have attempted keybinds in the past using a Naga. After about a month of trying to use them, found I had much slower reaction times then when using my standard click method. Of course, that was back when I played WoW. Keyboard turning will forever be slower than a mouse turn unless they add a speed modifier to the turn keys, even then a mouse will net you more precision. But that isn't to say that a clicker can't be viable, even competative in the right hands. I will humbly disagree though that you will get 5 GCDs to my one. Not only can I guarantee you that it is not the case, unless you are very good and staying on my back you will struggle to get two to my one. Not trying to toot my own horn, but I have gone against many a seasoned keybinder who struggles to stay on me/stay away. Skill is relative, and can;t be judged or a forum post. Regarding your last statement, I will again disagree, Keybinding is not the only way to go. To each their own though. Props to your ability to keybind, something I can't seem to master, nor after a decade and a half would I want to.
  14. I wanted to weigh in on this, as a dedicated MMO clicker. But before I get "noobz!" thrown at me, let me explain why. I was in the military for four years, and during my time in, my left hand was injured by an unfortunately dumb private. So basically, my dexterity in my left hand equates to me being able to push W, A, S, D, Shift and Space without much movement. Not that my reaction time is bad, simply that my hand moves slow, and in PvP you must move fast. Now I have tried the 15+ button mouse, but as a slightly OCD person, and always wanting to be prepared, I have every ability I could ever use out on my bars, even the incredibly situationally specific ones, just in case. Basically, all this reduces me to a nubby Keyboard turning clicker, as most people criticize on any MMO forum. However, unless I say something, most people don't know I'm a clicker, and most don't believe that I am when I tell them. Why? Because over the past decade I have developed little things that close the gap. I'd like to share some of those with you. 1) For starters, if keyboard turning, to do so on a dime, jump in the air, you turn faster. If turning towards a melee enemy, jump, back pedal and turn at the same time. You will turn fairly quickly, and create a small amount of space to fire off an ability before they are able to get behind you. (I do not support constant back pedaling outside of few situations) 2) Resign your UI. Most people have their bars at the bottom of the screen. This IS the MMO standard for keybinders, and for some reason clickers try to emulate it. Dont! You have to look at your keys to click them, or shift focus from your peripheral (smaller monitors are advantageous for this) to your keys. Now I don't often show off my UI, mostly because of the hate I get for it, however, in this case here you are. Healing: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/B4kst4br/Screenshot_2015-11-11_21_41_43_395922_zpsef3puotq.jpg DPS: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/B4kst4br/Screenshot_2015-11-11_21_41_43_395922_zpsef3puotq.jpg As you can see, I keep my abilities in the middle-right of my screen (Im right handed). For healing, the frames are right next to the healing abilities, and for DPS, the target is right next to my abilities (specifically the CC abilities). This accomplishes a few things. For starters, your focus is now the middle of your screen. Second, rotation/priority is a straight downward click pattern. Third, your buttons are larger (1.2), leaves less room for miss clicks in the heat of battle. 3) Abuse your GCD. Frequently, during the GCD, I am using the mouse to turn, selecting targets, glancing around the battle field, calling incs, ect. Use your GCD to your advantage as a clicker, because you have too. Admittedly, it takes time and a quick reaction to get good with this part. But so does keybinding, so hey, whatever. Your GCD will become your best friend. If you have any questions or anything let me know. I could, if you like, make a recording of me using these tactics on video. Sorry for the long winded post.
