This is a load of BS... Why didn't we get "founding member" when we spent 60-160 Euros on the game itself and made our accounts? Why did you only come up with this "reward" when it's time for people to decide if to stay or leave, because this game is basically a BETA TEST you pay for in this current state? I don't really care, I'm leaving after the first month because this game is unplayable garbage, looks worse than WoW and the frame rate drops on my PC, which is capable of playing Battlefield 3 on ultra settings with 8x AA at 80 FPS, are ridiculous for graphics this crappy. You can take your game and shove it, since you are lame for doing this crap. What makes me less of a founding member for pre-ordering the game in august??? Lame move.

I love it how, in the trailers we see, all the textures are high def, but when you are actually in the game, everything looks disgusting even on a very expensive gaming computer, with everything set to high and AA forced on.

Due to the fact that I feel like I am paying to play a Beta, I will be letting my sub slide, and I will come back in about 3-6 months. The graphics are utter crap while playing, gorgeous and detailed in cutscenes, performance is horrible in battlegrounds even on my quad SLI GTX 590 monster, ability lag in PVP is game breaking, gameplay is repetitive like hell, there are a million interface/animation/game mechanic bugs that should not have made it past beta, etc. I still can't believe that the game basically grinds to a halt every time I have more than 10 people around me, or a lot of stuff going on, and that the interface lag gets so bad sometimes that it takes 2-8 seconds for my instant cast abilities to trigger. Oh, and then there is the small issue of completely broken PVP balance. Sages and Sorcerers always get top damage AND healing, and they are basically the jack AND master of all trades. They have stuns, they have CC, they have that shield, they have self heals, they have knock backs, they have a million DOTs and HUGE burst damage. Also, there is the small problem that whoever designed the PVP side of this game didn't have the common sense to limit the amount of the same class that can enter the warzone. When you have 9 sorcs and 1 BH on a team, and nothing else, SOMETHING is wrong with the game you're playing. When you get 500 FPS in a game like Eve Online, with 800 player ships around you, and 40-60 in this game with 20 players around you, you know something is seriously wrong. It would not bother me so much if I didn't play all my games with Stereoscopic 3-D enabled. To have stereoscopic 3-D and not get headaches and nausea, the games you play have to have at least a steady 120 FPS. I get over 250 FPS in any other game I play, including Battlefield 3 and other very recent games. I will be coming back when this game is out of beta, meanwhile, I won't be paying for a beta test just because EA wanted to get SWTOR out in time for Christmas. See you when I see you...

They could have balanced slicing by simply level locking the different mission tiers... But no, they had to bring class 6 lockbox rewards to less than what some level 3/4 give... Absolutely stupid.

My GPU fried on the 6th, ordered a new one the next day, and I just got an e-mail saying that the new 6990 I ordered will be here on the 19th. Main reason I pre-ordered was so that I could get in the early access and reserve my names... I got my early access invite on the 14th, but can't use it. Oh well... So yeah, it could be worse...

Eve has nothing to do with scripting, and a 2 week old player can be just as valuable as a 6 year old player in a fleet, so you are talking out of your ***. Also, quake live is nothing compared to UT 2004 and the original UT, I was a master at UT back in '99. Good times.

Your 2600+ friend should try PVPing in Eve Online, he'd get shat on so fast that his assumptions that he is any good at PVP will be turned into a big puddle of shame. And LOL @ whoever says that if you are good at PVP in WoW, you are good at PVP in MMOs in general. WoW is the most dumbed down game I have ever played. It's literally the only game I've seen where you can set up 2 macro buttons and you can kill anyone just by pressing those 2 buttons. This is especially true for frost mages. So glad I quit that game and deleted all my characters a few months ago. SWTOR and Eve forever!

I agree with letting everyone in now... I was looking at the server list, and most of the servers had low population, with only very few at standard (medium). Why not just let everyone in?

Yes, I played the beta. All of it. Also, deciding to quit a game that has been pretty much crap since Cataclysm launched, and that has wasted a lot of my money and time is pretty smart.

The other game is WoW, and I deleted all my charaters to make sure I am NEVER tempted to go back to their brats and pandas and horribly dumbed down gameplay and grind. This is coming from a guy that met his wife in WoW.
