Ok I just bought the Field Respecialization that says I can switch specs in the field. But now that I used my legacy points for it, I see no where in my Combat Proficiency tab to just switch specs on the fly. All I see is the reset button, and I don't want to do that because I have my points the way I like them in my main spec. How do you switch specs on the fly in this game?

As I said before in some other posts, I am a returning player. I have done a character boost on my toon, but I am having to remember everything in this game again..lol Some of the missions are a bit confusing and others are pretty easy. I seem to recall there was a site you could go to years back that is akin to the "wowhead" site for wow, where you get hints, tips and help with missions/quests. I remember when the game first came out, we could take gear drops that our character couldn't use and put it on our companions. We were able to customize companions through gear also. I am not seeing anywhere on my companions where I can give them gear anymore. Did this change? Please link me to information on this, I was trying to find info regarding this. Thanks all

I hadn't played this game in a couple of years and came back to sub again and see whats new and try out the new stuff. I was given a character boost automatically and decided to roll a sage on the republic side on the Shadowlands. She is now 70. I have some lvl 40-55 toons on Jedi Covenant when this game first came out, I bought the founder pack. Anyway, things seem to be really dead on this server. I haven't see anyone talk in general chat at all. So I am contemplating doing a character transfer. I tried to search on Google the servers and see if they showed which ones are full, medium or low populations but didn't come up with anything. Is The Harbinger or the Jedi Covenant still pretty well populated servers? Any suggestions on where I should transfer too? Thanks

I just re-subscribed today, as I hadn't played this game in a couple of years. It looks like they made some really nice improvements since I played. I am having to remember everything all over again, how to play some of my old toons, rolling some new ones to get the feel of things again. If this game is dying it wouldn't have lasted as long as it has. I get bored with my other games, like WoW and some of the other MMO's, so I will restart old subs and play something different. This game doesn't appear to be a "dying game" to me. I really hate threads like this on game forums because it makes people think the game is in a "doom and gloom" mode when it really isn't. If you are bored with this game or frustrated why not try playing something else for awhile instead of making crappy posts like this one? Why bother to post something like this if you are so sure this game is going downhill, and your unhappy with it?

Yes in fact you did! I thank you for that btw. Not sure that will make much difference with ninja looters, they aren't going to hand over loot they want once they pick it up. As I said my only recourse is to boot them. There are some advantages on being a tank and leading a group! =)

Did they change that? I didn't think you could trade items that were looted in a flashpoint or instance/raid? I probably get the excuses because I put up quite a stink about it when they do ninja loot, and then as a tank I just leave if they keep doing it.

Given my age, probably older than your mom, you can cut me some slack on remembering exact timing. I am not even sure if it was a solid 6 months that I played to be honest. But in any case, who gives a ****? The point I made was it has been quite a long while since I played this game and only recently came back to play it.

Almost 3 years, but I didn't play but maybe for about 6 months at most. Was in the beta though prior to the game coming out.

Haha, yea is a long time. I played in the Beta and got early access in 2011. Leveled up a number of toons then got bored. Your right though, a lot has changed with this game. You have to pay to have legacy access now. Wasn't like that when I played. Maybe there are more kids playing these games now.. because I don't recall so many just down right rude players, but then again I am getting old.. so maybe my memory is just going..lol

I just came back to playing after a 3 year hiatus. I don't think I have ever seen so much ninja looting (especially bad on the Republic side). I have characters on both sides / factions. I had this happen on just about every friggin run too. After the person needs on everything, and a couple of the group members ask why they are needing, they say, oh sorry was an accident. Or.. you get the "I need it to sell, so piss off" attitude. Or if your a low level toon like say 12-25 they say "you can buy better gear, so who cares if I need on it". It really is incredibly selfish for those of us who are running flashpoints and instances trying to get a particular drop or item. I am making a list on both sides of who not to run an instance with. I mean seriously, this is just bad sportsmanship. But if you do it and your in my group, you're getting vote kicked out of the group. Rest assured as a tank, I won't take you on any higher level raids either if your on my ninja looter list.
