Yes, that one is tricky. Make sure you have all your ship upgrades purchased for your level. BioWare has said they plan on expanding on space combat but no specifics of what they may do. Personally I really enjoy what's implemented now. I like focusing solely on blasting things and not needing to worry about ship control.

Population seems healthy on my server. Taking a quick look at server status page, there are no servers showing "light", I take that as a good sign. Others may take it as they wish.

Subbed for 6 months. It will take me at least that long to get through all the content I want to experience. Hope you find something that suits you better.

I too was totally surprised at how much I enjoy space combat. Maybe it's the retro feel of an old arcade game from 80's. Can't wait to get more/expanded missions.
