  1. Adding my support. Thank you BW for adding those wonderfully useful items that could be used for any stronghold. I really appreciate the three years I've had with this game.
  2. True or not, I'd be glad to see a lot of post Episode III EU retconned out of existence. Not a fan of Dark Empire, the Vong, or TFU and with Ep VII on the way, they'll probably be retconning things left and right anyway.
  3. I have the same problem. I bought this, figuring it was a bug and would be fixed. I hope that's the case.
  4. (bolded what's the most eye-catching) Look at where the Rakata are now compared to the Sith; one's a practically extinct species while the Sith are at least surviving and having theirs ups and downs. What's bad sci-fi plot is stagnating the universe with only one group of villains returning again and again to defeat the heroes, ala Bowser style. Sith aren't the ultimate antithesis in Star Wars; the Dark Side is. The Rakata fill that role as Dark Side users in an era that predates the Sith Order.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if our characters met these crew members as part of a flashpoint mission and was assigned to them as a result.
  6. Darth Nox.... once the incredibly stealthed to the point of seeming forgotten and non-existent super weapons refuel.
  7. The op is talking about a comment made in a dev post, I believe, recently about removing the warzone restrictions for F2P. I am in complete agreement with that change being made. As I understood it, it was supposed to happen in that patch with the Arenas we had but I may be misremembering the post.
  8. I don't see the issue here. Anyone willing to fork over large amounts of cash to pay for the CM to sell on the GTN is helping me be able to buy these items at reasonable prices, without me having to pay real money to buy the item. It can only be bought by people who can afford them so prices have to meet the demand and if too many start trying to cash in on the supply to buy a high demand, it will flood the market. Basic economics. Beyond actually buying those nifty cosmetic items, credits only are used to pay those QoL perks and all those credit sinks. It isn't like you need them for content. On top of that, credits are easy to come by.
  9. There have been hints in the game's code there may be new class stories in the future. If I had to guess, it would probably only come in a large expansion where adding a new planet or two as well as a new level cap after Makeb would apply.
  10. The packs themselves are not gambling. You can make a gamble with them, but that's entirely on you. You are investing coins into a pack with random items. Now if you say, "I am buying this pack with hopes to get something I can use or sell," that's you gambling with the packs. The packs have their guarantees. There's no chance of getting nothing. Whatever value you or the MMO community puts on the item is another thing entirely. A lot of arguments I'm seeing on cartel packs=gambling are based on their own impositions on a product that is telling you exactly what you got with no chance of failure (beyond a glitch or bug happening). Btw, I don't buy cartel packs, although I used to buy trading card packs. That's not gambling and neither is this.
  11. After the holidays and Galactic Starfighter is out for everyone, I'd like to see them at least begin teasing upcoming content, and not stuff they've already teased us (like a Quesh map huttball). Like the user above said, datamining has uncovered some interesting things so I'd like to see more of it.
  12. I have to agree that saying he cheats when he's not shown to ever agree to any conditions is silly. By that logic, it's cheating to take advantage of a loophole as well. Grievous chose to engage in combat with Ventress by igniting his sabers and attacking; nothing more other than a gloat of his superiority. Assuming anything else for an oral contract is faulty on the offerer's part imo. Regardless, his actions did keep him alive in the war. If he wasn't such a braggart and Sidious wasn't pulling him back whenever the Seps were winning too much, I have doubts many of the Jedi he repeatedly faced would have survived. That's probably one of the things I have grown to like about his character: there's a lot of what he "could" have been and done but his flaws really crippled him.
  13. The Bounty Rep vendors have some pretty sweet armor imo. You could preview how the color dye would look on that chest piece and go from there.
  14. This. The op's main question has been answered already as far as lore is concerned. The only thing I think you could really argue is how believable that reasoning is.
