  1. Sounds great! As my sub lapses today, I already look forward to re-subbing once you deliver on your promises
  2. Before you jump on me - I REALLY REALLY DON'T! I'm just trying to figure out whether someone at BW/EA lost a bet or something and was forced to do it lol Not to mention that it makes it even worse when I open Inventory and Crew Skills... It just hurts more when you see the old one. So, let's make a poll-ish post. Please put your words in Bold if you like the UI so it's more visible
  3. I am really concerned with the speed of fixing bugs... A week after release they fixed only a few from dozens... And if anyone would like to challenge that, please review this list: https://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=10002130&postcount=1 This means that we either get 7.1 with a massive delay; or we will have these bugs for a long time if they focus on 7.1 in attempt to keep us subscribed and pay CC for weapons
  4. In my opinion, yes - it's called a "cash cow product"
  5. Only time will tell which route Bioware takes. I'm thinking that if the game sunsets, a new one will come out to satisfy the market demand. And developing a new game should cost way more than actually investing into fixing this game i.e. way more easier profits for EA. Not to mention that it would be way harder to get a multi-year stable player base in a new game. So yeah, only time will tell.
  6. Thank you both, appreciated! I believe I have unlocked Artifact Authorization and if I didn't, I still have some CC in the bank I think Preferred will suit my needs for now, it's not like there's much new stuff to do in 7.0... I'll update the post when I have assessed the pros and cons, in case anyone is interested. To explain my decision: I no longer believe that being subbed is better for the game, I think Bioware will start caring for the game and the players when the cash flow stops.
  7. Hi everyone, anyone knows what the difference between the three types of account is? I am looking for a definitive list, not just a few random notes; also interested if there are any changes to the account levels in 7.0, especially since one of the restrictions that I remember for being non-subscriber was to not be able to use Artifact (Purple) gear, which now is not that relevant unless you play NiM/MM Ops (and I believe will also limit the use of Legendary implants). Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information on the website...
  8. Two main issues that I see, is it just me? --- 1. Swapping Loadouts, which changes Combat Styles, seem to not be updating all of the spells on my bars from the already saved Loadout. Example: On Bar 1 Tab 1 with Combat Style "A" I have spell "A". Same location, with Combat Style "B" I have spell "B". When changing from Combat Style "A" to Combat Style "B", it correctly shows Spell "B" on Bar 1 Tab 1. However, when I change back from Combat Style "B" to Combat Style "A", it still shows Spell "B", instead of Spell "A". If I manually update the Loadout for Combat Style "A" with the new spell and swap around a few more times, it doesn't reoccur, unless I logout and try again. --- 2. Swapping Loadouts doesn't change Implant 2 and Relic 2. This happens both when changing Combat Styles and not. On the Loadouts screen itself, they are displayed correctly - i.e., on the DPS spec I have the DPS ones and on the Heal spec I have the heal ones - however when I update it, under "Gear" it doesn't seem to have done the trick.
  9. I switched the race of my character N'adzor to Nautilac via Cartel Coins and now the "Hide Head Slot" and the "Show Dark Side Corruption" no longer work. I tried switching outfits, clearing cache and whatnot. Please, fix. Thank you!
  10. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with 3 characters, which are all healers But I think it's just me, you, and at most a few other people left who play all three healers, so people just can't see the nerf from our point of view - a SWTOR healer's point of view, not just a Sorc/Sage-only healer player with 5 DPS alts that they play more // people whose 8th alt is a Sorc/Sage // people that couldn't easily kill a Sorc in PvP. For the Scoundrel/Op, I couldn't agree more: sustain healing is a must (healer-wise) in PvE end-game content in any MMORPG.
  11. You clearly don't play Sorc and don't know how different the Resource Management is from the Mercs' / Ops'
  12. FYI: BW are reading everything, although they rarely respond, they deleted a post of mine earlier today so someone did read it
  13. My Sub expires soon, so with one of my last posts I want to thank BioWare for all they have done the past 5 years! There were a lot of ups and downs, buffs and nerfs, positive and negative bugs, but 5.3 beat them all in absurdness! I have all 3 classes with healing specs in SWTOR (I rarely played tank or dps in any MMO in my ~10-11 years of experience) and when the fun is taken away of your main one (Sorc is not fun even in SM and guild runs where we try some goofy tactics just to have a nice laugh) and you look and feel more viable with your 236/242 Operative than your 246/248 Sorc, you know it's time to move on... And no, I won't reroll and wait until the other classes get nerfed too and the fun in healing is completely removed from the game... I created an Op and a Merc purely for the purpose to understand their rotations and playstyle on a basic level so I can feel more viable with my Sorc for the whole group by knowing their abilities, animations, buffs, hots, talents etc. So I will stop rambling and just say I wish you luck in your future endeavors, it's been a blast!!
  14. Well, it's too late now, what's done is done. Some people rerolled, others unsubbed, third are still sweating a lot to remain viable in end-game PvE.. It'll take months to gather solid data on the current performance and HPS meters and they would more likely nerf Mercs and Ops rather than buff Sorcs.. Just making the game less and less fun for ppl that enjoy healing
  15. Yeah, the Operative I heal our progression team with also told me that he feels the nerf as well, he feels the added pressure on his shoulders... Which shouldn't be the case, in my mind the Operatives are supposed to be sustain healers, they shouldn't be reactive but proactive - he shouldn't be stressed out by damage spikes that his co-healer cannot burst-heal... or at least not all of the time. Imho, even if we say that we are still equally viable and I'm just a total noob that hasn't mastered the only spec and class he plays since 2012, we can all safely say that Sorc healing is not even fun in casual OPS anymore, and when you take the fun out of a game... Yeah...
