I don't know if this idea has been tossed out for thought, but what if the resolve mechanics were reversed to use a better term and applied to fatigue. In other words if you are rested (not in combat) your resolve is full, and if you have been in heavy combat your resolve drops leaving you subject to stuns slows ect.?
