  1. When / where is this supposed to take place? I'd love to shoot the **** with some of you, scheduling conflicts permitting.
  2. I was on the PTS... briefly. My thoughts echo those of Desii and Flux; I won't be transferring to a server where I'll have to support someone named xxIOWNZURMOMLOLZxx, while they spend every warzone chasing people around emoting, "u mad bro?" There're plenty of people making movies right now, with more entertainment potential in their fingernail clippings than these people, and I would never, ever go to see a single one of their films; so I'm not going to subject myself to that kind of crap, if I don't have to. This is a video game. I don't really care about overall skill level, or being better than anyone, or whatever, because none of that translates into anything tangible. If I care about anything, on that level, it's not playing poorly, and I say that self-consciously, as even that is just an ego thing. To my mind, video games are all about escapism, and, for me, that's largely affected by the community. I like the community that we have here, so I'll be staying, provided that the community remains.
  3. Maybe, but we Ascension healers are too egotistical to group together in a premade, so your chances of getting into a match w/o a second healer are higher than most
  4. Not really... the match hit the map's enrage timer. Most Novare's are nowhere close to thirty minutes long, so of course the numbers in that SS look absurdly high.
  5. The problem with this idea is that there're many people who change their gear in the downtime prior to warzones starting, not before taking queue pops. Locking gear on entry would essentially mean giving a big F-U to anyone who runs dailies / heroics, and Bioware's really encouraging that right now with the new achievement and reputation systems.
  6. Parses can easily be falsified by anyone with a plain text editor, e.g., anyone. I think we should just ditch the concept altogether. No sense providing a catalyst for more drama. You'd think that trusting people'd be the way to go, especially given the 'just for fun' nature of the thread, but the reality is that this forum is enough of a tinderbox as it is. Cheers for the time you've spent on its maintenance, but I think we should take the humane route and just put the dog down.
  7. LOL. Your guildie grieved a raid that I was running with Consular. Cons has it on tape. You asked me into your Vent, claiming that you wanted to discuss the matter with me. When I signed in, you lied to your guildies, telling them that I told you I wanted to quit ASB and DL, to join DJO, and that you were publicly rejecting the application that I never sent. When I laughed at you, you banned me with a message that it was because I "like dudes." The whole thing struck me as grossly hysterical. "Jock issues?" Why didn't you just tell me that you were still in high school... I wouldn't have wasted my breath. /edit No offense to jballa, or any of the other high schoolers who're magnitudes above you, in terms of both skill and maturity.
  8. I've been noticing this, especially in warzones, since the 2.0 patch. No idea why it'd just be in warzones, but I haven't noticed anything particularly out of the ordinary while going through Makeb. I haven't run an op, yet, so I can't speak on that, either way.
  9. Hey now. Accusing others of hacking is against the TOS. If someone happened to be using a poorly coded hack, and it made a bad system call, at the same time I was taking my screenshot, it has NOTHING to do with my post about armstech. Kthxbye.
  10. The problem with this analogy is that athletes are paid to do what they do
  11. I don't know if I agree with that or not (I haven't healed at 55 yet). From what I've learned, throwing HOTs on people provides a significant buffer for damage; as long as I keep HOTs up on people, they'll live long enough for me to use UWM, once they start taking damage. But, yeah, I do feel that there's significantly less gameplay freedom than there used to be. I used to be able to choose when and where to heal vs. throwing out damage; I don't feel that luxury anymore, I feel as if I have to be on top of the healing ball, full-time, and I'm not thrilled about it. "Broken" is an exaggeration, though.
  12. I'm on a RP server. Most of the players I've talked to on our server said that they rolled there for communal reasons. A little while back, we had some people come over from a PVP server, bragging about how they were going to set up shop, and own the place; they get steam-rolled on the regular. But we certainly welcome cross-server queueing
