  1. Because healing isn't already nerfed in pvp?
  2. After a bit of testing, it doesn't seem to have any effect on Healing Trance for whatever reason. (TK Throw is a channeled spell and works with FP but w/e) I was only interested in it because it might have been broken (I obviously wouldn't want individual ticks to eat their own charge). Every tick of Healing Trance would be guaranteed to crit and I'd still have both FP charges left over afterward.
  3. Mildly off-topic since he's asking specifically about DPS, but does anyone know if Force Potency increases the crit chance on Healing Trance? I plan on testing it tonight but I've been noticing that Healing Trance crits do not eat Force Potency charges. So theoretically you could get +85% to crit (before your base crit lol) on Healing Trance and still have both charges left over.
  4. Clicking targets in this game is a major pain. if there's someone behind me there's a good chance my right click hits them and gives me a "not facing target" error. If I didn't need the interrupt to be instant I'd just DoT whoever is capping.
  5. Whenever you want honestly. Past level 10 I don't think I ever used any melee while leveling. However, I leave Saber Strike on my bars for Force-free interrupts on people capping nodes in Warzones.
  6. You can do it by yourself, it may just take a bit longer. Soloing the Ilum daily on my server is always an interesting proposition though considering the Empire/Republic ratio is at least 2:1 atm.
  7. The PvP daily/weekly require you to win 3 and 9 warzone matches, respectively. Additionally, there's a PvP daily/weekly that requires you to capture 5 and 15 contested points on Ilum, respectively. You should have no problem doing either of these solo, but I'd suggest grouping with friends to at least make it more enjoyable if not more successful.
  8. Until people learn how to use their interrupts correctly and properly focus targets this class is incredibly fun, if a bit easy, to heal with in PvP. If you can find someone to throw a Guard you, you aren't going to die. I had a level 34 Guardian guard me in a Voidstar match yesterday and he ended up with over 100k protection.
  9. You're referring to Resplendence, which gives Force back at no cost when Healing Trance crits. Assuming you cast Healing Trance only when Conveyance (buff gained when casting Rejuvenation that gives +25% crit to Healing Trance) then Healing Trance will almost always crit. When it does, you have about 10(?) seconds to cast Noble Sacrifice for your free Force regen. Currently the only way to tell if you've gained Resplendence is to either watch for the Healing Trance crit, or check your buffs bar for a symbol that looks just like Noble Sacrifice.
  10. I believe the only PvP implant, designed specifically for the Sage, is the Force Master Implant. I don't think there is a Force-Mystic Implant.
  11. The problem is the people in your group might not recognize there was probably nothing you could have done differently and that shapes their opinion of you going forward. It's the possible reputation hit that annoys me as someone who prefers playing guild-less. Sure, there are friends and acquaintances that know I'm a solid enough healer but it's important for others to realize this as well if I plan on continuing to get groups. A bad group that isn't your fault tends to hinder that. Edit: All that said, even if a death or wipe wasn't my fault I still blame myself and pour over what I might have done differently. It might be a bit of a savior complex... maybe I should see a specialist.
  12. It really does. You can put points wherever you want as you're leveling because there's no "right" order to spending your points, but there will always be a few optimal specs. That's just the nature of the talent system. However, and here's the real shocker, you're allowed to spec any which way you choose. Those optimal builds are what you're going to get when someone comes to the forum looking for suggestions though.
  13. I believe it was bugged in such a way that it actually doubled damage received instead of halving it. I haven't used it recently but apparently it hasn't been fixed.
  14. They're one of the easiest classes to kill. Manage your stuns better so you aren't giving them immunity and they die incredibly quick.
