  1. With the changes to AoE no longer keeping players from capping nodes, what's the chances of getting Force Storm/Turbulence returned to it's forming 8 8sec glory? I'm an assassin main and never really cared for Sorcerer especially lightning until 3.0's additional abilities. The visual and better sounding crackles they emit vastly improved my opinion of the class feeling like it's a force to be reckoned with but with Force Storm reduced to 3 seconds (less with all the alacrity buffs) makes it feel less impressive. I was beginning to love raining down the death and spamming the ability doesn't give it a natural display of power. Even if the damage was still nerfed if necessary to get it back to 8 secs I'd rather have that than how it's at now.

  3. Another Legacy perk suggestion list. After the most recent Star Wars Cantina event and that cringing "shocked" reaction of "how many players are already legacy level 50?" remark I thought we'd have another go at it. So if increasing the player's legacy level to match the current max character level (currently being 60 now with 55 being completely skipped the whole time) isn't on the plan moving foward then at least let's start with additional perks. Legacy Character Perks Advancement: Honestly with 12xXP around the corner and there's already xp bonuses done here, unless this was going to be a legacy based permanent feature idk what other advancement is needed not to mention that the 12xp completely over shadows the other forms of the xp unlocks to boot. So face-lift on this feature required? Companion: Legacy of Gathering - Reducing the channel required for your companion to gather from a node by 1 sec. Stacks for 3 tiers. Convenience: Cargo Bay Drop & Legacy Cargo Bay Drop - Calls your ship droid (or crew pilot) to fly by over head in your class ship for a cargo air drop to supply you in a pinch. (similar to mail/repair bots w/each tier reducing it's CD). Also this could just be two separate unlocks for each normal cargo bay and legacy if need be. Legacy Global Unlocks Ship Unlocks: Legacy Cargo Bay - As stated, allows access to legacy cargo bay on the ship. Alignment: Legacy of Compromise(Neutral) - Grants use of the Compromise ability to all characters. Compromise increases the effectiveness of your companion for a short duration. This could essentially just be a presence boost to the player (since presence gained on the companion doesn't apply) and increased presence already adds to all aspects of the effectiveness to the companions. I don't believe it to be over shadowing Sacrifice and Unity and that was their initial concerns with not having a neutral alignment to begin with if I recall. Convenience: Legacy Credit Storage - This is a touche one here and requires some very careful twinking. Without getting into a great deal of details this would be a way to store credits from characters on the account on the same server into the Legacy Cargo Bay functioning like the guild bank w/o the ledger (since it's just your character so I don't see the need of the ledger). But with the issues of maintaining F2P/Preferrred restrictions unless otherwise revamped or lifted it would be in theory a Subscriber only feature if implemented in the game's current state. Not sure on the backlash this would cause undoubtedly. Legacy Datacrons: Basically spreading unlocked Datacrons legacy wide. I've read other posts asking for this and I believe out of one of those there was a reply from a Dev, stating that it would be an issue that need a re-coding since the datacons were design for that in mind and the codex entry would be really all that could be spread across legacy but not with the stats. I'll try to have that post and link it to this when I get the chance but nonetheless a feature being asked for numerous times. Valor: I honestly would like to see some cool stuff added to this category but I'm not at all impressed with the current melee driven abilities we already have. I personally can't think of anything more interesting to add to this that I'd like but for those that like this goofy kinda stuff as see I can think something. Since it's just a bunch of punching moves why not add a series of kicks too? Sweeping Kick, Standing Jump Kick, Roundhouse Kick, and idk hell Crane Kick? You get what I'm saying here, when we all can do some sponsored Tatoonie Stronghold UFC fight clubs or something. I'm sure people would get a kick out of that! (oooh... you see what I did there?). Social: If I'm still being honest here I hated leveling my social points and it wasn't that I wasn't social, but it was character based and I swapped characters VERY often during the initial release of the game because all my friends decided to play the "Race to end-game content and complain about the lack of end-game... game" instead of playing to enjoy SWTOR. So I really don't know how I'd feel about increasing the level of Social rank but more abilities from legacy would still be awesome right? I mean it wouldn't really be that bad either if Social was revamped to being legacy-wide either so that's still good? Either way new exclusive emotes wouldn't hurt here I'm sure you can let loose some of those future emote plans intended for the next cartel shipment right? I hope you're not that desperately in need of selling emotes in those random packs. I'd like to keep a list up for all of us to brain-storm a compiled list of requested perks. I plan to add to this with thoughts brought up in replies and other similar posts in future edits. Bioware wants to hear what we want in our Legacy so why not GIVE IT TO 'EM!?
  4. /signed. Please add collapsible Crew Skill Schematics and Legacy Achievements/Codex as well while you're at it. Hell make all da things optional collapsible!
  5. I actually missed Matrix Cubes being HM Raid relevant. I loved having that paired up with a On use or proc'd base, however I don't see them finding a way to change that now unless they stop giving us a two different proc'd base relics + on use as options anymore. It was fun well it lasted just sucked it only lasted a year if anything (not that I can recall the exact length it was good).
  6. Spike, trust me on this. There are more than a handful of other hidden restrictions that aren't even listed on the http://www.swtor.com/free/features/ chart and I definitely can tell you with certainty that F2P/Preferred CANNOT deposit or withdraw credits from the guild bank nor can they use Flagship ports or guild repair funds. No amount of credits can be used no matter your rank in guild because it is completely inaccessible to a freemium account.
  7. This is exactly what I've been saying but others seem to want to project their own problems to it that don't even exist if it were to function in the exact same sense. It's either that or they feel that the bank should feel sorry for them for not logging in before they're out of time and give all their characters credit caps because you know... that's BW's fault.
  8. THANK YOU! All I was trying to do is pitch the idea and then all I got were people saying "Yeah! Hey I want that too but it can't work unless you can solve these underlining issues and prove it, GO!" and you're absolutely right. We're just suppose pitch the ideas right it's not like they're going to implement the very idea in the exact way we pitched it. Hell I could think of 1 additional feature I would have loved to have when 3.0 came out with the UI changes and you could filter/highlight debuffs affecting your targeted enemies. Being a hatred dot-spec'd class I would have appreciated if I could filter to see ONLY my own debuffs on my targets rather than every single of them. You know because that would have been a hell of a lot easier to see and know when I need to reapply the dots my reliably and a feature by the way took 3 years since release add but that's beside the point. All we need to do is up vote that we would like to see this feature. Let the devs make their own tweaks.
  9. So the solution is to locked the feature to non-subscribers as to not allowing withdrawals by any means but doing so has you going against that. You realize that it's an option to throw credits into the legacy storage, you don't NEED to dump all your character into the storage bringing everyone to 50k each. You don't need to go out of your way and funnel all your gains into one central location and I'm not saying that your escrow over your credit cap on each character will automatic get deposited to the legacy escrow. It would still go into the character's respective escrow. As I mentioned above you don't need to deposit every cent you have into the legacy storage, it's just an option. You do know it's not that difficult to run dailies either to get capped back up 350k even if you were silly enough to dump every cent into the storage and not log in to withdraw up to cap on each character right? Honestly can we just agree that neither of us can seem to make the other understand each other's ideas through the use of wall-of-texts and just let others post actual additional constructive possible solutions so-to-speak? Can we do this please? Because the only way I think we can better attempt to make sense to each other is via a VOIP discussion over TeamSpeak 3 or Mumble or whatever, otherwise we're not going to see eye-to-eye. If you're up to a VOIP discussion I'm down with that because I am tired of trying to reason with you on this thread any longer so please take no offense to why I'll no longer reply to your future replies here unless it's where and when we're jumping into a VOIP chat. Additional walls-of-texts isn't going to help you and I get on the same page so let's please get some new perspectives from ANYONE else for a change.
  10. Idk why I'm going to try to reply to you again, maybe we both like banging our heads against the wall. 1. You want it so that you CANNOT transfers credits between characters at all so one solution is to lock it completely until they resubscribe but you don't want it to be held hostage either so locking it is a no no for you so the next best thing is to allow you to get it out like character escrow. You see what you're doing there? You want it to do what it should and shouldn't do at the same time. Your argument here at best is that you whole heartily believe that Bioware wants to make sure character credit transfers are completely impossible to do. Well to do that they would have to first address the two methods how F2P/Preferred players can already do right now as well as to not allow withdrawals from the legacy storage by any means to achieve this "problem" you keep bringing up. To reiterate those two methods quickly here: Transferring credits from GTN purchases between your own characters (can cross factions). Exchanging credits to a trusted 3rd party player and return them to your alt (in the same faction). So as you've stated if they were really intended to keep players from transferring credits at all they would have to make it possible that these two methods can NO longer be done. Making so that you can't buy items posted buy your own character and removing the ability from players trading credits with non-subbed players, in which would mean that credits in legacy storage would have to remain locked without a method from withdrawing from it PERIOD. That would solve your oh-so problematic character credit transfers. Otherwise what is the difference that the legacy credit escrow being account wide/server side? At least this way they'd have to pay Real-life money (Cartel Coins) or purchase the consumable escrow item (via CC or credits at unfavorable returns) or lock the whole feature altogether which to you is also a deal-breaker. 2. Do you consider character escrow hostage too? How can you be ok with character escrow but not legacy bank functioning as an escrow either? Also why do you keep thinking the legacy must make sure your characters get capped to 350k if you don't do it yourself? Have you ever been unsubbed on this game for any time period and played under its restrictions at all? Dude what is your problem other than reading comprehension? I've already told you that mailing credits isn't a big time sink it still doesn't mean that the feature should never be implemented. The only monumental and massive effort being done here are my attempts of getting you to understand common sense and not blow this whole discussing out of proportion which you've done in every reply you've giving here and passed threads on this very thing. You yourself aren't supplying solutions either and if you did I can only assume those will all be as counter-intuitive as your arguments.
  11. As usual it's getting more and more difficult to understand what you're trying to say. I don't mean to be rude but I'm not sure what half your points are trying to address so here's some bullet points I believe that I already found that helps this perk work or at least to how it functions. 1. The legacy credit storage is just an addition to the existing Legacy Stronghold Storage (Identical to the guild banks). 2. The ability to deposit/withdraw credits into it has to be locked if you're not a subscriber in order to preserve the credit cap restrictions for unsubbed players. Therefore it's essentially a subscriber-only feature. 3. In the case the player does not have any remaining paid subscription time the Sub-to-preferred restrictions conversions kick in the day your sub is out and features on your account become locked. This would included credits held in the legacy stronghold storage (another similarity in the way a player's ability to use the guild bank credit feature is locked from F2P/Preferred status players). 4. It is at this point the credits is essentially an account-wide escrow separate from the character escrow. The funds are there and are not lost. Due to being locked to use this part of the storage let's just say you could only access this if there were consumables to withdraw from it exactly like the existing escrow consumable items. For the sake of ease let's say the consumable is dual-purposed and can be used for either character or legacy stronghold withdrawals. In which case you'd have to buy them via Cartel coins or some how getting them from the GTN (which usually doesn't end with favorable returns). Remember you can no longer deposit more funds to this storage until you resubscribe. 5. Obviously since it's still the legacy storage this would mean an easier and more secure access to credits you've placed into the bank for the use of all your characters on the account under the same server. I think that just about sums it up. The problems that can't seem to be understood to why others think is still an issue is. I felt like I've already covered both these points. Credits in storage functions as a separate escrow and the best fix to not having this get bypassed by F2P/Preferred is to lock the feature until they resub. So why do we keep butting heads? Why doesn't the bank need a cap? What is magical about 7.7mil credits going to do? Why do you guys believe that the storage needs to take on the responsibility of making sure all your characters under 350k are capped and ready for use? That completely counters the whole "make sure preferred players don't bypass the restrictions" the credits are just held in storage exactly like character escrow except in this case would be account wide. What's wrong with that? The only thing I see here is that you guys are over complicating the entire feature and saying it can't work. If you would stop trying to get the legacy storage to also function like an over-bearing mother and have it take care of your characters that you forgot to log into and top them off all the credits you stockpiled into the bank you'd see that you're actually the ones creating why it can't work.
  12. If you're just joining into the mix I would beg to you that you read all my posts from beginning to end and tell me if you have a better understanding to how it's possible to work because these two simply don't get it. They keep saying they're wanting the feature as well but only restate the same two concerns they have over and over again even with solutions provided.
  13. To you again I say "SERIOUSLY?". I'm in awe to how I could be any more CLEAR by in which case I've obviously failed to get a simple person like yourself to grasp all this. You just must be one of those that are beyond reason. I'm stated countless times that there's already features operating in the SAME *********** FASHION in game AS WE SPEAK and you keep replying time and time again that it can't be done. You know, the only thing that can't be done here and for you to understand ANY of this so I say thank you for all your input duly noted as they're all here on this thread and the passed ones repeating the same **** without input on solutions mind you. But I see here that there's no reason for me to continue this back and forth until another "real" argument comes up. The only thing you've state correctly here is that mailing yourself credits isn't that big of a deal. But "IF" you could simply stock pile all your credits into your legacy cargo hold take your use at your leisure, you're telling me you won't use that? No wait... don't answer that because I don't care to reply to it either way anymore.
  14. Yes I've read those posts and appears you've addressed the same stakes, read up on my most recent reply I believe it might offer some insight.
