You wont be very successful in trying advanced tactics in a PUG. Even doing it yourself and calling it in ops chat, most PUGers dont look at ops chat . The usual premades I see now run with a tank+2healers+a dps. That combination alone can make a very big difference when you pit it against a randomly selected PUG. I solo queue now because it isnt fun roflstomping PUGs. There's no challenge in that. I dont mind playing against premades either (though 2 premades together is pushing it), just give me competent team mates and a better matchmaking system.

Against PUGs, the sorc/sage can hold it's own. If the other team likes to cluster together, the hybrid spec can be extremely punishing. LOS/Kite is key. If you're standing still expecting to freecast, I dont think anyone has been able to do that since after people started discovering the interrupt key. (1.1 or was it 1.2?) I dont do ranked so cant comment about that.

^agree to the most part except that you're not helping by not capping or guarding. As a DPS sorcerer with multiple CCs(i play hybrid) and a constant stream of DPS, I help out more by killing everything that comes our way, rather than waste time trying to cap/guard node/run orbs. I remember in 1 ancient hyper gates we actually had the pubs cap both the pylons, and we still won in the end because of pure number of enemy kills in mid. come 50 we do get alot squishier and become support dps, but it's more a team effort since most of the 50 players *should* know what they're doing.

This. saw it in action today in ACW, used by a Jugg. Thought it was a glitch on my screen, but i asked in ops chat, and the person the jugg was fighting confirmed that he did the marauder disappearance animation. Can i check if the person who used it's name started with Art?

Please dont force players to stay in warzones! there's a trash-talker called smoochie on my server that leaves the moment the team falls slightly behind, and 95% of the time after he leaves we win the match with his replacement.

i'm very sure that i had a game of huttball against one of these jokers yesterday as well.

we had a huttball today where we barely got out of our side (lowbie pvp) when the other team already had the ball, teleported past the fire traps and came to our goal line. somehow someone managed to stun him, and all 8 of us had our way with him :D:D. he rage quit after that but yea.. it was kinda funny
