  1. Gear has nothing to do with it. I've only played for a month and I only have Tionese gear since I dinged a few days ago. Some people are just really bad players and it's painful to be forced to carry them.
  2. None of those are even remotely important for the game. #1 is UI customization, which is frankly a necessity at this point. The UI is absolutely horrible and clunky. Second thing is improving the server software/hardware to get rid of intermittent lag. Thirdly we need a serious look into class balance to make all healer specs roughly equivalent and to make every class able to dps properly. Fourthly certain classes have no viable PvP spec because of the design of the class, namely Commandos and Mercs. And last but not least, a dual spec where your quickbars are saved between specs is very important because the current system roughly punishes people who want to occasionally dps and occasionally heal or tank.
  3. I'm sorry to say this, but if you don't want to PvP or PvE, then MMOs aren't your cup of tea. You can roleplay with people in a chatroom or something.
  4. Long queues on Tomb of Freedon Nadd as a healer, upwards of 10 minutes. What's worse is, the server is absolutely chock full of really, really bad players. I mean the DPS I get to enjoy FPs with pull about the same damage numbers as my companion. It's pathetic.
  5. You people are completely sheltered. I don't understand how you can manage to keep alive from day to day if you throw a hissy fit if someone says a bad word. You are some tattle tales. I find the Barrens chat in DK occasionally funny. When it isn't, I don't look at it.
  6. Lots of absolutely clueless people in this thread. Hardcore people create communities. Regular scrubs just log in occasionally to /dance in the capital or to craft some stupid item that they then put on AH for way less / way more than it's worth. The thing is, as hardcore players create communities, they drag in these casuals who want to be a part of something "cool." That's why WoW is so popular. Interestingly enough, when Blizz started sucking up to the clueless and incompetent ***** in WotLK and Cata, subscriptions plummeted. Now they've stabilized again until the newness wears off and people realize the game has been dumbed down to a level where someone who can¨t count to potato can do just fine.
  7. People reject these kinds of things because when they are added, the developer is forced to up the difficulty in the game, i.e. you actually have to start to have a clue. Most bads are fine with it right now since the game doesn't require any reflexes or any skill at all to be blunt.
  8. There's only so much you can do since there is no real customization. Can't modify the size of debuffs, can't have an alert when a CD is reset by another skill, no click2cast and so forth. The skill ceiling is therefore very low in this game and as a consequence, the game is very easy.
