  2. If you signed up for a year membership to a fitness center in your town and 6 months in, they tell you they are shutting down and that you have to start driving 2 hours away to make use of your membership, and offered no refunds, would that be an ideal situation for a charge back? Honestly, I would still call in to see about getting a refund first, because charge backs should be a last resort. Despite what people here are saying. Charge backs are pretty easy to do and the responsibility is placed on the person charging the card to prove that the charge is valid. But again, deal with billing first. You may find that you want to come back to this game sometime in the future, and don't want the headache of a banned account and starting all over.
  3. You need to re-read the thread. Vember began by saying that 9/10 Premades were queued for easy wins. No qualifying statements on gear, etc. You pushed the idea that Min/Maxed EWH geared Premades looking for easy wins are mythical. This is the statement I'm asking you to prove. It may be anecdotal, but anecdotal evidence can be accepted in lieu of solid evidence if it doesn't exist. This is your chance to prove that these groups are mythical and toss his argument right out the door.
  4. Prove it. Prove that these groups are a figment of our imagination. I will wait.
  5. Sorry, I should have explained myself better. While in combat, sprint was activating, and took the animation of a Sage using the Force Speed. I'm going to start recording my gameplay and try and catch it live.
  6. I'm not 100% sure, I only leveled a Sentinel to 50 back when the game was first released, however, I don't remember them having Force Sprint as an ability. Apparently my memory is deceiving me because I saw Sar of The Azure Blades using Force Sprint as a Sentinel. http://imgur.com/a/Du19S Any explanations?
  7. I think the problem is that we are referring to it as a trailer. From what I gather, it's just a video that will play on Galactic terminals when the event launches. They couldn't very well have the video in game say "come to Nar Shaddaa tomorrow" or many people would miss out on the first day.
  8. I'm pretty sure it was in a Q&A that they said they didn't expect the White crystal to be available "in the foreseeable future". They also said they didn't expect the game to be F2P in the foreseeable future either. Can we just accept we're now in the unforeseen future?
  9. Qui-Gon: "Perhaps I killed a Jedi and took it from him." Anakin: "I don't think so. No one can kill a Jedi!" Qui-Gon: "I wish that were so." 'Nuff said.
  10. Is the 35-40% Shield Chance with or without Dark Ward?
  11. Deal. I'll start selling my stuff more closely to the prices already being offered and you drop the price of your Black Hole implants by 90% because it doesn't cost even close to 1 million in mats to make.
  12. Rebuke + Saber Ward = time for me to get my setup of Force Sweep done on my Focus Spec. 3500 damage to all surrounding enemies. When I'm doing PVP with my Sentinel, I'm looking for healing classes and causing them grief. I don't normally leap into an attack, I use Force Camo and run up to them. Then when I get knocked back, I use my Leap to get right in the fray. I use Leg Slash to ensure that even if I get stunned, the enemy has little time to get anywhere that a Zealous Leap won't hit, giving me time to set up a Stasis and then hitting them with a Force Sweep for 3500 damage. The Sentinel doesn't need a knockback, however, I'm all in favour of having an ability that prevents knockbacks for 6 - 8 seconds.
  13. OK, flip it around, the first sorceror uses a knockback ability, but the second also uses it at the same time, they've both burned their ability. You FIVE sentinels jump up and put a tooling on both sorcerors. It's all part of playing the game. And anyone who says Rebuke is a junk ability leaves themselves open to being told to L2P.
  14. Funny, I just read through Touchbass' post and didn't see a single source or evidence backing up the claims. Do you just request evidence when someone takes a position opposite of yours? I know you think it destroys a person's argument to just demand a citation, but it doesn't. I've made my feelings about LFD/LFG tools in a previous thread. I'm fine with them, but each person who participates in one should be required to submit a player review for each person in the dungeon/group upon disbanding. People who are below a minimum threshold rating should be grouped with similar people of low ratings. The /ignore is fine as a hindsight action. It isn't going to protect me from the next person crossing servers who wants to be a jerk because it doesn't affect them on their own server. But getting back to my original thought. Don't ask for supporting evidence from an argument you don't agree with when you're going to advocate for an argument lacking specific evidence that you agree with.
  15. I would support an LFD tool if at the end of each dungeon the participants were given the option to rate each player. After the ratings were done, an average would be taken and then inputted into a database. If a player's rating fell below a certain threshold (an average of the last 15 - 20 dungeons), they would only be paired with players of that same threshold. This way, the players who really want to work together and do well together will assign decent ratings to other players who do the same, and jokers and people leaving early will receive poor ratings. This way, even if you go cross-server, you're still looking at people who want to do well so that they don't end up in a group of people who are all out for their own devices. Other than the above option, I'm ok with the current setup.
