So I made a JS to try the Dark vs. light event, and I had never had one before. I just hit 26 and have been doing more PvP to get the hang of it. However, I feel like I am spending most of my time trying to catch people. I leap in, they knock me back, and I spend the rest of my time chasing them before I get shot up. Am I doing something wrong? I used to see people with a lot of damage using them in PVP but I am not sure how... the guides online are pretty old. Any advice? I went with the Combat skill tree.

How do you do the PvP for characters created at the special time with the symbol next to their faction, the VS thing? Does that only come into play for some events? I think it was called the Dark vs. Light event... is it over? I went back to reread the introduction but could not seem to find it.

I think I figured out the problem, I was shield spec. I was getting confused between Powertech and Pyrotech.

I would post a screen shot if I could, but there is no Scorch ability listed, it goes from: Quell Shoulder Cannon Sonic Missile Translocate I'm starting to think someone is messing with me...

I swear I do not see that ability listed for a Pyrotech. Did it get renamed or the level changed?

So the guide I found online said the Scorch was a level 58 ability and I am 61. Is that ability still in the game for Pyrotechs? I can't seem to find it. All the guides I find online seem pretty old... Thanks.

So I am at 400/400 for Elite Commendations. Is there anything we can do with them other then get gear from the Supply section of the fleet? There is no gear I need, I am all 190 and 192 or better. Previously I would use Basic coms to buy items and then just wait and sell them, but it seemed like a waste for Elite Comms. Is there nothing to buy with them other then personal gear? Thanks.

So I dusted off my old sniper just to check her out, and she is just getting crushed in PvP. Having to stand still and try to get a shot off while every 12 year old with a light saber is beating the crap out of me sucks, and it seems like everything knocks me out of cover... and the whole rolling into cover is really silly when I was already where I wanted to be, and if I try to cover escape I normally collide with whatever I was forced to hide behind, preventing me from moving... So I was just wondering if I am having bad luck or is the Sniper just... lame? Broken? a waste of space? 90% of what I see people playing seem to be shadow/assassins and Scorerers...is that the way to go?

I don't play on a PvP server, I just don't have time or interest to grind for high end PvP gear. Every time I get a character to 60 and get wrecked by people with uber gear I lose interest. Pretty much have already lost interest. Thinking about going back to EvE or checking out Star Citizen. Is that out yet? Anyway, I feel PvP is broken, it just discourages new and casual players. I thought if I could stop at 59 it might be more balanced or interesting.

Someone in my guild told me there was a way to turn off leveling at 59. Is that still in the game? If so, where do I find that option?

It says to finish the mission... it won't say how.. very annoying.

The game will not let me into his office to turn in the mission, the door is red. There is no table I can click in the cantina to skip to the next part. I tried going back in to see if I missed something but could not. I tried restarting the mission several times but I cannot get solo mode to launch, and without the droid to help I cannot do the mission. My seven day free trial is up today. I was going to reactivate my account but it seems foolish to pay money for something that will not work.

There is nothing I can turn in. There is nothing else I can do... I finished the second mission and I go back to where the mission started and the door is red. I go back to the droid and he has nothing to say. I tried redoing the mission but it is impossible without the droid to help. Where the heck am I supposed to go? I'm so mad I want to punch my computer, If the expansion was new I could understand it being a bit buggy, but it has been out months!

I just finished the second missions but it would not let me turn in the mission. I must have done something wrong? I was going to redo the missions but it will not give me the droid. I keep dying. I tried restarting from my ship but still no droid nothing works, what do I do? I am really annoyed. Has anyone tried calling their credit card company and disputing the charge for the Raven Expansion sense it wont work? Has anyone managed to get it to work after having an issue?
